Steps of WBJEE Counselling Process 2025
The counselling process for WBJEE starts with the candidates' online WBJEE 2025 registration and ends with seat confirmation and admission to a particular college. The steps involved are listed below:

Step 1: WBJEE Counselling 2025 Online Registration
- To begin the counselling, you have to first register online for the same. Go to the official website of the WBJEE Board.
- On the official website, follow the "WBJEE e Counselling 2025 Schedule," located on the left-hand side of the page, as shown in the image below.
Step 2: Log in to WBJEE 2025 Counselling Account
- You have to log in to the counselling account by entering the previously received (during the application process) Registration ID, password, and security pin. The below image shows the Login Page of the same:
Step 3: Entering Details
- You have to provide the necessary details now. The details you are entering should match the ones you provided while filling out the application form.
- The details to be provided include your academic and personal information.
Step 4: WBJEE 2025 Counselling Seat Allotment
- Your rank and choice of course and institute seat will be allotted to you, considering that the said seat is available. If a seat is not available, then you have to choose one from the available seats. Below is a sample image of seat allocation.
Step 5: Document Verification
Mandatory: Once a seat is allocated to you, you now have to go through the document verification to authenticate your qualifications. The mandatory WBJEE Counselling documents (originals) you should carry for WBJEE Counselling 2025 are as follows:
- Domicile Certificate,
- 10th mark sheet as a proof of date of birth,
- WBJEE 2025 Admit Card,
- Print out of WBJEE 2025/JEE Main 2025 rank from the official website,
- Receipt of Counselling Fee payment,
- 12th or equivalent mark sheet,

- The first type of domicile certificate is an undertaking of the candidate mentioning that he/she is a resident of the state for at least ten years.
- The second domicile certificate is an undertaking mentioning the candidate's educational qualification and whether the candidate is a resident of the state.
- The third domicile certificate is an undertaking which should be produced by the candidates who are not resident of the state but whose parents are residents of the state.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling Schedule for JEE Main Candidates
The university conducts a separate round of WBJEE counselling through JEE Main for the candidates applying for admission. WBJEE Counselling 2025 procedure is the same for the candidates who qualified for JEE Main 2025.
Candidates have to register and fill in the choices of the colleges within the WBJEE counselling date 2025. The seat allotment is also done based on the candidates' marks in the JEE Main exam 2025.
WBJEE 2025 Counselling - Round 2
Candidates who decided to upgrade in the first round are considered for the second round of WBJEE 2025 seat allotment. However, applicants who are given their first choice during the WBJEE 2025 counselling Round 1 are not considered for upgradation.
Candidates who choose to upgrade and accept admission based on their allotment must report to the RC during the second round of admissions. They would be able to modify their upgradation status from "Yes" to "No" during the second round of WBJEE seat allocation 2025, but not from "No" to "Yes".
Documents Required for WBJEE 2025 Counselling
- Only Qualified students: The counselling process requires applicants to be qualified for WBJEE 2025 or JEE Main 2025 examination.
- Domicile: Candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal can register for WBJEE counselling 2025.
- Minimum Age Criteria: Candidates should be a minimum age of 17 years of age before the end of the previous year of the examination.

WBJEE counselling 2025: Guidelines and Rules For JEE Main and Architecture Seats
- West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will conduct a centralized process online for WBJEE 2025 counselling for JEE Main and architecture seats.
- WBJEE counselling 2025 will only be held for certain courses that will be mentioned in the seat matrix published by the WBJEEB.
- The WBJEE exam will consist of three rounds of counselling of WBJEE 2025 namely allotment, up-gradation and the mop-up round.
- WBJEE counselling registration 2025 fee is INR 500 for JEE Main and WBJEE rank holders.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling Reporting Centres
Once the seat allotment process is completed, candidates have to report to WBJEE counselling 2025 centre with all the documents within the specified dates. At the reporting centre, the documents of the candidates will be verified by the authorities.
Once all the documents are verified, candidates can secure their seats in the respective colleges by paying the admission fees. In case the seat has been allocated to the candidates during any of WBJEE counselling 2025 rounds and the candidates opt for the up-gradation. They don't need to report at the report centre after that particular round is over.
