ATMA Overview

Introduction to ATMA 2019

  • About: ATMA stands for AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), which is a national level entrance test conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admissions to various postgraduate administration programs. ATMA 2019 is taken up by undergraduates after Bachelors to get admissions at Post Graduation level from Government/University/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided MBA schools in India.

  • Frequency: ATMA is conducted five times a year, in the months of January, February, May, July and August.

  • Mode: ATMA 2019 is a computer-based online examination.

  • Courses offered through ATMA: ATMA acts as a pathway for candidates to take admission in management courses including MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCM, MCA, MMS etc.

  • Difficulty level: The main objective of conducting ATMA is to assess and test the candidate’s skills in subjects like comprehension skills, verbal reasoning capabilities, and numerical reasoning capabilities. ATMA 2019 and subsequent ATMA exams are expected to have a moderate difficulty level as per the past trends.

  • Admissions: ATMA 2019 Exam score will be accepted by 100 MBA colleges located across India in Delhi/NCR, Jaipur, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and other prominent cities. Some of the Top MBA Colleges accepting ATMA test score are IFIM Bangalore, PUMBA Pune, Dy Patil Pune, DSIMS Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, Christ University, IPE Hyderabad, FIIB New Delhi, NDIM New Delhi among others. On the basis of the Test Results and Rank scored, the deserving students are shortlisted for admission in various management courses in the top management colleges across India.

ATMA 2019 Important Dates

  • Application dates: Application form for ATMA 2019 will be released on 25th November 2018 and the last date to submit ATMA 2019 application form is 1st January 2019.

  • Admit card date: Candidates can download the Admit card for the May attempt from 3rd January 2019.

  • AIMS will notify ATMA Important Dates 2019 in due course of time.

  • Final year students: Students in their final year of graduation are eligible for ATMA 2019.

ATMA 2019 Application Form

  • Mode: Candidates can apply for ATMA 2019 in Online mode from 25th November 2018 to 1st January 2019.

ATMA 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: ATMA 2019 is a Computer-based test. ATMA 2019 will be a single session exam of three hours duration. The merit list is prepared just like CMAT, XAT and SNAP.

  • Negative Marking: There will be negative marking in ATMA 2019. For each incorrect answer, 1 Mark will be deducted.

ATMA 2019 Syllabus

  • Sections: ATMA 2019 question paper is divided into 6 sections. There are three major sections in ATMA and each section is further divided into two parts making ATMA 2019 exam as six section test. Each of the six sections will have 30 questions in MCQ format.

     The order of the sections would not necessarily remain the same. The sequence may change from exam to exam.

  • Subjects: ATMA 2019 question paper covers subjects like Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills etc.

ATMA 2019 Results

  • Result Date: ATMA 2019 Results will be declared on 3rd March 2019.

  • ATMA 2019 Result Mode: The candidates can check their ATMA 2019 results Online by logging into the official website of ATMA 2019.

ATMA 2019 Counselling

  • Process: Students will be allotted seats on the basis of the ATMA rank secured by them and the college cut-offs.

Q: What is the application fee for ATMA?

The application fee for ATMA 2019 will be INR 1298 (INR 1100 + 18% GST).

Q: What is the pattern for ATMA?

The question paper of ATMA will consist of 180 questions divided into 6 sections.

Q: What are the documents that are to be carried by the candidates to ATMA exam centre?

Candidates must carry their admit card. They must also carry two passport size photographs, photocopy of the registration form and ID proof with photograph (Aadhar card, driving license, etc.).

Q: What is the marking scheme for ATMA?

For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

No. Only Indian nationals can apply for ATMA.

  • In the Dayananda Sagar Business School I had taken ATMA,KMAT and PG CET.I got good scoring in aLl three exams.wherein I got 1004 ranking in pgcet which got me seat in DSU..even my kmat and atma scores were eligible has the cut off was 80 n for pgcet it was 5000.the admission process was very simple we had to fill the application form which costed 1000 and 1.5lakhs to paid in DD..which included 30k of pgcet fees.
