OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2021

OJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

Candidates can pursue UG level courses in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Pharmacy, and Integrated MBA by clearing the OJEE 2021 exam. The basic educational requirement is that the applicant must have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board. The detailed eligibility criteria for each UG course is given below:

OJEE Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm Course

The eligibility criteria for B.Pharm is as follows:

  • Academic Background: Candidates appearing in OJEE 2021 must have passed or should be appearing in the 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or its equivalent.
  • Subjects: The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry compulsorily. Other than that, the candidate should have opted for one subject from Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, or any other Technical-Vocational subjects.
  • Marks: The candidate should have passed each subject in their class 12 exams. For the general category, the qualifying percentage is 45%. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the qualifying percentage is 40%.
  • Age-limit: There is no age limit to appear for OJEE 2021 for admission into B. Pharm courses.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria for BHMS and BAMS

Eligibility Criteria for BHMS and BAMS courses are as follows:

  • Educational qualifications: Candidates should pass 10+2 Science examination of CHSE, Odisha or proportional, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together, with no less than half stamps in total for general classification competitors. 40% checks in total for the SC/ST candidates.
  • Age Limit: Lower age limit is set to 17 years. Applicants need to submit H.S.C. or on the other hand equal testament with help of his/her age confirmation at the season of directing of OJEE 2021.
  • NEET Score: Candidates should be able to present a valid NEET 2021 score for admission to BHMS and BAMS courses offered at Odisha state.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria for 2nd year BE for Diploma Holders

Eligibility Criteria for 2nd year B.E. Diploma Holders is mentioned below:

  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed or should be appearing in the three-year diploma examination (two years in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering and Technology from Odisha, or any other state of India, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
  • For Other State Candidates: A separate merit list shall be published for outside state candidates and they will be allowed for admission to the remaining vacant seats, if any, after the state merit list is fully exhausted through centralized Counselling conducted by OJEE 2021 committee. The results of the final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification during OJEE 2021 counselling.
  • Reservations: There is no reservation of OJEE 2021 seats in any of the categories/subcategories for admission into the Lateral Entry of various courses offered through OJEE 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (Marine Engineering)

Eligibility Criteria for the B.Tech (Marine Engineering) program is mentioned below:

  • Rank: A candidate should be a rank holder of the lateral entry test conducted by OJEE 2021.
  • Age: Less than 22 on the date of commencement of the course
  • Minimum marks: A minimum of 60% marks in 1st year of Engineering course, done from a college approved by AICTE
  • Academic history: In the above cases, candidates participating for OJEE 2021 must have secured a 50% mark in English at 10th/ 12th/ Diploma or degree level.

Eligibility for B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) for Diploma Holders

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) for Diploma Holders is given below:

  • Educational qualifications: Candidates must have passed or should be appearing in 2021 diploma examination in two years diploma course after XII standard in Pharmacy with minimum 45% (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) of marks.
  • Age limit: There is no age limit for admission to the OJEE 2021 B.Pharm course.

Eligibility to 2nd year Engineering (Lateral) for B.Sc Students

Eligibility Criteria for 2nd Year Engineering(Lateral) for B.Sc Students is given as below:

  • Educational qualifications: Candidates should pass Bachelor’s Degree exam of three years duration in Science from the any University of Odisha or a recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category) and also must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

OJEE PG Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2021 PG Courses are given below:

  • Educational qualifications: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree examination of 3 years or 4 years duration from any the University of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.
  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national to satisfy eligibility criteria for OJEE 2021.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates of OJEE 2021 must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination to satisfy eligibility criteria for OJEE 2021.
  • Relaxation for SC/ST: OJEE 2021 aggregate marks for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and physically handicapped candidates at graduate level qualifying exam should be 40%.
  • Age criteria: OJEE 2021 candidate need not fulfill any minimum age criterion to qualify eligibility criteria for taking OJEE 2021.

OJEE MCA Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for admission into MCA department is given below:

OJEE MCA (1st year ):

  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduate Level.
  • Age: There is no age limit for admission to the OJEE MCA course.

Note: If a candidate has passed BCA/ BSc (IT/CS/IST/ITM) with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear in the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level.

OJEE MCA-2nd year (Lateral Entry):

  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates need to pass Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in BCA, B. Sc. (IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM) and must have passed in Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or Graduate Level. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted for admission. Candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at qualifying Examination.

Note: Candidates who have passed Graduation in BCA, B. Sc. (IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM) with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or graduation level in approved institutes of other states are allowed to take admission in Private colleges as per their OJEE rank.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

Eligibility Criteria for MBA candidates is specified below:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration from any of Universities of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at qualifying examination.
  • Age Limit: There are no age limit criteria for admission to MBA courses offered in different colleges in Odisha through OJEE.

Integrated MBA Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility scenario for Integrated MBA is given below:

  • Educational Qualifications: OJEE 2021 candidate should have passed all individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all subjects taken together.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear at OJEE 2021 for admission into Integrated MBA courses.
  • Selection Procedure: Admission to this course will be made from OJEE 2021 rank first and if seats are vacant, then admission will be done on basis of +2 mark of Science, Commerce, and Arts stream candidates. For remaining vacant seats, Diploma Engineering students and students passed in +2 vocational courses will be allowed for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech (Regular):

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed or appearing Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech)/ M.Sc in relevant field from any University of Odisha or an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at qualifying examination.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear at OJEE for admission into M.Tech (regular) course.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech (Part-Time):

  • Education Qualification: Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of examination in a relevant recognized discipline/ field/ programme from any University of Odisha or an AICTE approved Institute or from University as defined by UGC.
  • Work Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational and Government, Autonomous Organizations in the relevant field in which admission is sought.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear at OJEE for admission into M.Tech (part-time) course.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Arch

Eligibility Criteria for M.Arch is given below:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed or appearing Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from any of Universities of Odisha or an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University to eligible for OJEE.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at qualifying examination.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear at OJEE for admission into the M.Arch course.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Pharm

Eligibility Criteria for M.Pharm is given below:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed or appearing Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the any University of Odisha or an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed or appearing Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering or passed Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialization in Community Development and Rural Development.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at qualifying examination.
