Manipal Academy of Higher Education has released the eligibility criteria of MU OET 2019. The candidates appearing for the exam have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria to get into the MU colleges. The MU OET eligibility criteria 2019 has aspects like qualification, nationality, age and marks obtained in the MU entrance exam. In this article, we have listed down the complete details about MU OET 2019 Eligibility Criteria.

  • Criteria: Manipal University sets the Eligibility criteria for the various courses which can be opted through MU OET2019.
  • Nationality: Indian National / Foreign Nationals with the required respective certificate(s) for the respective courses.
  • Must satisfy: In order to be eligible to take the entrance exam candidates should satisfy the criteria set up by Manipal University.
  • Course wise eligibility: Manipal University has set different eligibility criteria for different courses which are offered through MU OET by the participating institutes. A student who is applying for MU OETin order to take admission in a particular course should satisfy the eligibility criteria set by Manipal University for that course.

Subject wise Eligibility Criteria for MU OET 2019:

 Those candidates who fail to meet these criteria are not allowed to appear for the MU OET 2019 exam, their application forms are rejected. Candidates after qualifying and those who fulfil the criteria can take admission into pharmacy, engineering, nursing and other programmes in university-affiliated institutions.

  • Eligibility for B.Arch: 
  • Nationality: Should be Indian.
    • Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have a NATA score(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA).
    • Minimum marks: Candidate should have passed any one of the following courses with a minimum of 50% marks: 12th with Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject OR 3 years Diploma (any stream) after 10 years of schooling recognized by Central/State Government with mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Eligibility for B.A:
    • Nationality: Indian nationals.
    • Minimum Qualification: Candidates must have a valid NATA score(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) 
    • Minimum marks: must have passed any one of the following courses with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate: 12th with Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject OR 3 years Diploma (any stream) after 10 years of schooling recognized by Central/State Government with mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

  • Eligibility for M.B.A:  
    • Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised University with aggregate marks of 50% or above in any discipline. A valid minimum test score in any of the All India Management Tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT or in the GMAT.
    • Nationality: Admissions as per categories: General and Foreign/NRI. All Indian citizens are eligible to apply under the general category while the Foreign/NRI category is open to foreign nationals, non-resident Indians and Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives. Candidates can apply under either of the two categories but not for both. In case a candidate applies under both the categories, the application will be processed under the General category only. Eligibility for B.Pharm: 

  • Nationality: Indian nationals.

  • Birth Date: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or before 31.12.2001 are eligible.

  • Minimum Qualification: Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and English with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects.
