Overview of the Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2019

Qualification
B.Sc/ B.Tech: 45% in 12th. MBBS/BDS: 50% in 12th. BAMS/BHMS/BNYS: Completed or pursuing 12th or equivalent.
Age
B.Sc/ B.Tech: minimum 17 years. Other Courses: minimum 16 years.
Reservation
General Category: minimum of 45% in PCM Reserved Category: minimum 40% in PCM

Eligibility for AP EAMCET 2019

AP EAMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses:

The following eligibility criteria apply for Engineering, B.Pharmacy, Pharma.D, B.Tech(Dairy), B.Tech(Ag. Engineering), B.Tech(FS & T), B.Sc(Agri. Engineering).

Eligibility Criteria Based on Nationality:

  • Citizenship: Candidate should be an Indian citizen to be eligible to participate in AP EAMCET 2019 or must belong to the Person of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (Card Holders) category to be eligible to apply for AP EAMCET 2019.
  • Native: Candidates should be domicile of the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and should have a domicile certificate.

  • Status Requirement: Candidates should fulfill local and non–local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria Based on Age:

  • Candidate should be more than 17 years for B.Tech.(Dairy Technology), B.Tech(FS & T), B.Tech(Ag. Engineering) and B.Sc.(CA & BM). There is a maximum age limit of 22 years which is relaxable by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.

  • Candidates should be more than 17 years of age for Pharma.D course.

Eligibility Criteria Based on Qualification:

  • Compulsory Subjects: Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects and the particular exam should be recognized by Andhra Pradesh board.

  • Diploma Candidates: Candidates who have completed a diploma in engineering courses are also eligible for AP EAMCET 2019.

  • Marks Required for General & OBC Students: General and OBC candidates must secure 45% in their 12th examination in PCM to be eligible for AP EAMCET 2019.

  • Marks required: Candidates from General category should have a minimum of 45% and candidates from Reserved categories should have a minimum of 40% in order to appear for AP EAMCET 2019.
  • Diploma in Pharmacy: Candidates who have completed a diploma in Pharmacy can also apply for Pharma.D course.

  • Conducting board: The diploma exam should have been conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
  • Note: In case the candidate is appearing for the entrance examination and has a result pending of their qualifying examination then his/her entry will be valid only if he/she clears the qualifying examination.


AP EAMCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Agriculture and Medical Courses:

The following eligibility criteria apply for B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc.(Ag)/B.Sc.(Hort)/B.F.Sc./B.Tech.(FS&T), B.Pharma 

Eligibility Criteria Based on Nationality:

  • Citizenship: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

  • Native: Candidate should belong to Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

  • Status Requirement: Candidates should fulfill local/non-local status requirements as laid down by Andhra Pradesh Educational institutions.

Eligibility Criteria Based on Age:

  • Minimum age: The candidate must meet the below criteria to be eligible for AP EAMCET 2019.

    • Candidates should be more than 17 years as on December 31st of the year of application.

    • An upper age limit is 22 years and an age relaxation of 3 years is provided to candidates from reserved categories.

    • For B.Pharma, candidates should have completed 16 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria Based on Qualification:

  • For B.Pharm, candidates should have cleared or should be appearing in the final year of the intermediate with Biology, Chemistry & Physics subjects.

  • For agriculture courses, candidates should have cleared or should be appearing in Higher Secondary or equivalent exam with any two or three of the given subjects:

    • B.Sc.(Ag.) & B.Sc.(Hort):

      • Physical sciences

      • Agriculture

      • Biological or Natural sciences

      • Vocational course in Agriculture

    • B.V.Sc. & A.H:

      • Physical sciences

      • Biological or Natural sciences

      • Vocational courses in Veterinary sciences

    • B.F.Sc: 

      • Physical sciences

      • Biological or Natural sciences

      • Vocational courses in Fishery Sciences

    • B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Pharmacy & Pharm-D:

      • Mathematics

      • Biological or Natural sciences

      • Physical sciences 


Note:

  • Guidelines for Applying: The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for the AP EAMCET 2019 examination.

  • Termination of Admission Process: Failing to abide by the eligibility criteria for AP EAMCET 2019 might lead to the candidate's termination from the exam or the Counselling Process of AP EAMCET 2019 or the admission process.

If you Application is rejected, corrections can be made in the application form for AP EAMCET 2017 examination must be made by April 2017.
