KIITEE Counselling 2021: Dates, Fees, Documents Required, Refund Procedure

KIITEE 2021 Counselling will commence after the announcement of results. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of merit list prepared by the University itself and uploaded on the official website of KIIT Bhubaneswar.

KIITEE 2021 Counselling Procedure

KIITEE Counselling procedure is conducted by the authorities on the basis of ranks and categories. All candidates that have qualified for the counselling process as per the KIITEE merit list need to attend the counselling proces as per the counselling schedule shared by the authorities on their official website. Counselling rounds will be extended till all the seats in the courses are filled. Seats are allocated on the first-come-first-serve basis.

Candidate's documents will be verified during the time of Counselling/ Admission and the candidate should provide the required documents (original) which will be returned back to the candidate, and if the candidate fails to provide the required documents they will be not allowed to take the KIITEE 2021 Admission. It must be noted that any and all information as provided in the online application form submitted by the candidate must be supported by the original documents. In case of any discrepancy, the authorities reserve the right to cancel your candidature and subsequent admission irrespective of the candidate securing a good rank.

KIITEE 2021 Reservation of Seats

KIITEE 2021 Quota Seats will be distributed among different categories of candidates as per the below table. A separate KIITEE merit list will be prepared for each category.

  • 15% & 7% seats of KIITEE 2021 quota seats will be reserved for Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe (by birth) respectively. (Not by adoption or marriage)
  • 3% seats of KIITEE 2021 will be reserved for PC candidates. (Only locomotory disabilities). Physically Challenged Candidates and capable of undergoing an Engineering/MCA course at KIIT University as per the facilities available.
  • Additionally, 30% seats of each category will be reserved for women candidate (only applicable for B.Tech/ B.Tech & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) Biotechnology

Physically Challenged: Candidates will be considered eligible for admission under PC Category, who are having 40% disabilities in consonance with Section-39 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Participation) Act, 1995. As the institution is not having adequate facilities, the candidates having locomotory disabilities are only eligible to apply.

Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates)
B.Tech./B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For M.Tech/ LLM/ Ph.D. Candidates)
Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate.
GATE Score Card (for M.Tech GATE Qualified only)
School/College Leaving Certificate
Conduct Certificate
Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000/- in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. Cash payment will not be accepted.

KIITEE Merit List 2021

It is to be noted the university releases the KIITEE merit list 2021 once the results are declared. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates appearing in the examination and the list is shared with the candidates on the official website along with the KIITEE counselling schedule. All candidates need to check if they have made it on the merit listand further satisfy all the eligibility criteria for admission. The candidates must attend the counselling process as per the schedule provided the authorities.

KIITEE 2021 Selection Process

KIIT as the official authority conducts the KIITEE admission procedure for selection of candidates across several programmes in KIIT which includes B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BioTech and other exams. All aspiring candidates can check out the summarized step by step process to understand KIITEE selection process:

Step 1: Candidates are required to register themselves for KIITEE 2021 exam and paying the application fees on the official website.

Step 2: Download the admit card and attend the exam.

Step 3: Check for the KIITEE Merit List on the official website and download the pdf along with the counselling schedule.

Step 4: Attend the KIITEE counselling process which is usually conducted offline at the KIIT premises. The details of the venue will be available on the counselling schedule.

Step 5: The seat allotment is done based on availability of seats and your KIITEE rank on first come first serve basis.

Step 6: Make sure you carry the required Demand Drat of the amount as per the official website notification in the counselling process.
