KIITEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

KIIT University offers various courses at the undergraduate level in Science, Commerce, Humanities, Architecture, and Medical domains. KIITEE eligibility criteria 2024 for all the undergraduate courses is mentioned below for candidates' reference

B.Tech/B.Tech & M.Tech Dual Degree/Biotechnology (5 years)

Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or are appearing in 2024 can apply for B.Tech (4 years)/B. Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology).

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

Candidates should have been born after July 1, 2000.

A minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology is required. 

B.Tech Lateral Entry - 3 years

Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering, with at least 60% aggregate from the State Council of Technical Education.

 Candidates should have been born after July 1, 1997.

B.Tech in Architecture - 5 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Applicant must have scored at least 50% in the 10+2 exam. 

The candidate should have qualified for the NATA exam or JEE Main Paper-II. 

B.Sc Nursing - 4 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE).

 The candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate. 

The lower age limit and upper age limit of a candidate should be 17 years and 35 years, respectively, as of December 31, 2023.

B.A.LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B - 5 years

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks aggregate. 

For B.Sc LL.B, the candidates should have qualified 10+2 in Science stream with a minimum of 45% marks.

 Candidates under 21 on July 1, 2024, are eligible to apply. 

BBA - 3 years

A candidate must be passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks and one of the subjects in class 12 from the subject Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Economics / Statistics.

BCA - 3 years

Applicants need 50% marks in 10+2 in Mathematics for this course.

B.Des - Fashion/Textile

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 in any stream, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

 An applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2000

Bachelor of Film & Television Production - 3 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 in any stream. 

The candidate should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks to apply. 

An applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2000.

B.Sc Computer Science

Candidates should have qualified 10+2, with Mathematics as one of the subjects, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 

The candidate should be born on/after July 1, 2000.

B.A. Economics Hons. - 3 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2/equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

Also, an applicant should be born on/after July 1, 2000.

B.A. English Hons. - 3 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2/equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

Also, the applicant should be born on/after July 1, 2000

B.Com - 3 years

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics/Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects, with a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

The candidate should be born on or after July 1, 2000

Note: A candidate who has passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva (Switzerland) can apply for any course where 10+2 is the eligibility qualification. Other criteria will, however, remain applicable.

KIITEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

Candidates can be admitted to various PG courses offered in Science, Management, Humanities, and other domains by appearing for KIITEE 2024. The defined eligibility criteria for various PG courses are given below:

MCA

Candidate with a minimum of 50% marks in graduation or equivalent.

They must have Maths either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects. 

Candidates born on/after July 1, 1997, can apply. 

2 years Lateral Entry MCA

The candidate who has passed or appeared with a minimum of 50% aggregate in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM) from a recognized University. 

Candidates born on/after July 1, 1996, can apply.

M.Tech

Candidate should have passed B. Tech, B.E., or any equivalent degree (AMIE, GRADE-IETE, etc).

Applicant must have a first-class score in Engineering and Technology with an MCA or a first-class M.Sc in (Comp/IT/ETC).

GATE-qualified candidates shall be preferred in the selection process.

Candidates scoring more than 400 marks in GATE need not sit in the exam.

2 years M.Sc

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in any branch of Science/Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/Medicine (MBBS/MDS) with at least 55% marks.

 Candidates born on or after July 1, 1996, can apply.

M.Sc Nursing (2 years)

The candidate should be a registered nurse, registered midwife, or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

The minimum education qualification should be a degree in B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc Hons. Nursing/Post-Basic Nursing.

A minimum of 55% marks is required (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

 Candidates should have undergone any of the above courses from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

A minimum 1-year of experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing is required. 

LL.M (1 year)

Candidates who have acquired a degree in B.A. LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc. LL.B/B.L or equivalent from a recognized university

A minimum score of 55% is mandatory.

Master of Public Health (2 years)

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any Health Science [MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BAMS/ BNYS/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/ B.Pharm] discipline from a recognized university 

Candidate should have qualified a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. 

Master of Hospital Administration (2 years)

Candidates must have a qualified bachelor's degree in MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/BPT/BSc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/BPharm/BSc in Allied Health Sciences/Bachelor's degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law from a recognized university.

 A minimum of 50% marks is required. 

M.Sc & PhD

Candidates must have passed B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree.

Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks. 

Students possessing a Bachelor's degree with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering Graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply. 

Those who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply. 

M.A. (Yoga Therapy) (2 years)

Applying candidates should be graduates in any stream. 

There are no minimum qualifying marks or age limits given for candidates willing to pursue this course. 

M.Sc (Computer Science) (2 years)

Applying candidates should have a B.Sc degree in Computer Science/IT/Mathematics/Electronics/Physics/Chemistry/BCA. 

The candidates must have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam.

M.A. (Economics) (2 years)

Candidates must be a graduate or equivalent to one subject such as Economics/Mathematics/Statistics. 

The applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in their UG degree. 

M.A. in English (2 years)

Candidates should have passed graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. 

The candidates should have attained their UG degree with at least one subject in English.

 The minimum qualifying mark required is 50%.

M.A. in Sociology (2 years)

Candidates should be a graduate or equivalent with a 50% marks aggregate.

M.Com (2 years)

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university.

 A minimum of 50% is required to be eligible for the Master of Commerce course.

Master of Mass Communication (2 years)

Candidate must have passed graduation (preferably Bachelor of Journalism or Mass Communication). 

The candidates must have attained a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.

Master of Mass Communication (Integrated)

 Candidates should have qualified 10+2 in any stream, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

An applying candidate should also be born on/after July 1, 2000.

Computer Science & Engineering- Specialization in Engineering /Computer Science & Information Security/Data Analytics/Software Engineering

Candidates who have qualified B.E./B.Tech with first-class in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation or first-class in MCA or first-class in M.Sc. Comp.Sc/IT are eligible to apply.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering- Specialization in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems/RF & Microwave

Candidates should have qualified B.E./B.Tech with first-class in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Electrical or first-class in M.Sc (Electronics).

Mechanical Engineering- Specialization in Specialization in Manufacturing Process & Systems/Thermal Engineering/Machine Design

Candidates should have passed B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with first-class.

Civil Engineering- Specialization in Construction Engineering & Management/Structural Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering/Water Resources Engineering

Candidates should have passed B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with first-class in order to be eligible to appear for KIITEE 2024 exam.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Research Programme

Candidates willing to enrol in any research programs offered through KIITEE 2024 must refer to the eligibility criteria below.

  • Candidates with an M.Tech/M.E/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with a 60% aggregate mark.
  • An equivalent CGPA or M.Sc/ M.A./ M.Com/ LL.M or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks is required.
