FIIFT 2024 is a common aptitude test conducted for admission to MBA International Business programs offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. NTA conduct an IIFT exam. The IIFT will do the selection and admission process. From 2024, the IIFT exam will not be conducted, and admission to IIFT will be based on the scores of the CAT exam.
Furthermore, the CAT exam-qualified candidates are eligible to apply for admission to IIFT, and the selection process will commence in Apr 2024. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for the personal interview round (PI) shortly by IIFT Delhi.

IIFT Notification Release
Publication of the IIFT Notification 2024 will be released in Jan 2024. Following the announcement of the admission exam results, the institute will immediately disclose the shortlist in Mar 2024, and the final selection procedure will be completed by Mar/Apr 2024. The final admission offer is anticipated in Apr/May 2024.
IIFT Kakinada (AP) Campus: Operations Begin
According to Dr Manoj Pant, Director of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), the Kakinada campus of the IIFT was opened in 2022 with an intake of 40 students. The campus was intended to start in 2021, but it was pushed back to 2022.
The Dar-es-Salam campus was established.
From the academic year 2021-22, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade will reopen its Dar-es-Salaam campus in Tanzania. The agreement with IMF Tanzania has now been extended, and hence admission to the Dar-es-Salaam campus is now available.

IIFT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The IIFT exam is conducted every year as an admission test for the IIFT. The institution only accepts the scores obtained in the exam. Candidates who want to register for the IIFT Exam should first go through the IIFT 2024 eligibility criteria and check whether they meet all the criteria for the exam and only then apply for the exam. The IIFT 2024 eligibility criteria are based on factors like educational qualification, nationality, and age.
The minimum qualification required for the candidates to take IIFT 2024 is to possess a graduation degree from a recognized university in any discipline of a minimum of 3 years with 50% marks. For reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons With Disabilities (PWD), the minimum is 45%. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible for applying for IIFT 2024.
IIFT 2024 Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for IIFT 2024. Candidates who are studying in their final year examination for a graduation degree are also eligible to apply. But they will need to produce the proof of qualification on or before the last date given by the conducting authorities.
IIFT 2024 Nationality
Applying candidates can be Indian citizens. NRIs and Foreign Nationals are also eligible to apply, although they will have different entry requirements for the IIFT Exam.

IIFT Application Process 2024
IIFT application form 2024 will not be issued by the IIFT. The admission to MBA program will be based on the CAT score. National Testing Agency (NTA) used to conduct the IIFT exam on behalf of the institute starting with releasing the registration forms 2024 on the official website. Candidates first need to register, log in, fill up the application form, pay an application fee (IIFT Prospectus Fee) and upload documents on the official website.

IIFT 2024 Exam Centres
IIFT 2024 advance city information slip will be published by the NTA. Candidates can download the city information slip from the official website. IIFT exam is held in over 65 centres across India. In the IIFT 2024 application form, candidates can select up to four exam centres. For a limited time, NTA may allow the facility to submit a request for admission entrance test Centre Change. The application fee for changing exam centres is Rs.1000/-. The Request can only be submitted online. Offline, no requests in this regard will be entertained. IIFT 2024 Counselling
IIFT 2024 counselling process will begin on the official website. The selection process of IIFT 2024 will consist of 3 main steps that act as a filter to shortlist the most deserving candidates.
- Written Ability Test: In the written ability test, candidates have to write an essay or answer some questions asked from a comprehension. Based on that, the writing skills of the candidates will be analyzed. The time allotted for this round will be 20 minutes and the word limit should be 300 words.
- Group Discussion: Candidates will be categorized into different groups and will be assigned a topic on which they have to speak. In this way, the communication skills of the candidates will be analyzed. Candidates must be aware of current affairs and all the events related to the business world.
- Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for the interview process if they qualify for the above rounds. In this round, the candidate's communication skills, general awareness knowledge, and various other parameters are judged. Once the candidates qualify for all the rounds, they are considered to be selected.

Once the selection procedure of IIFT is over, the authority will release the final list of the candidates who are selected for the admission process of IIFT. IIFT Admission Process 2024
The IIFT admissions process includes several rounds of candidate shortlisting and selection. Read on to learn more about the IIFT admission and selection process:
- Candidates who pass the IIFT cut-offs are invited to the Essay Writing, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds.
- Candidates are given a topic about general or corporate matters for Essay Writing. An essay of roughly 300 words takes about 20 minutes to draught on average.
- During the GD phase, applicants are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic to discuss. Candidates are then required to take the initiative, communicate well, and express their ideas.
- The final round is the PI round, in which the panelists question the candidates. The outcome is notified to the candidates through email.

IIFT Exam 2024 Cut Off
IIFT cut-off is the minimum score required to be eligible for Essay writing (EW), Group Discussion GD), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) admissions. IIFT entrance exam scores will be used to choose candidates for IIFT admission. Essay Writing, Personal Interview (PI), and Group Discussion are all part of the IIFT 2024 admissions process (GD). However, beginning in 2021, the institute will conduct extempore and PI online.
In Feb 2024, students chosen based on their IIFT exam scores will be called for Essay Writing, PI, and GD. By Apr/May 2024, the final selection for IIFT admission will be released. IIFT Exam Day Guidelines
IIFT exam will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The following are some dos and don'ts for exam day:
Dos:
- Arrive at the IIFT exam centre two hours before the exam to complete the identification and proof verification process.
- Carry two copies of the original IIFT admission card.
- Bring copies of passport-size photos (ideally the same ones you supplied with your application form) to the exam centre to place on the attendance sheet.
- Carry a photo identification card, such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, College ID, Driving License, or PAN Card (original and photocopy)
Don'ts:
- Do not be late for your IIFT exam. After 9:30 a.m., no one will be permitted to enter the testing centre.
- Carry no electronic devices, such as a calculator, digital watch, phone, Ipad, or printed material.
- Food and metal-containing products should not be brought.
- Wear no metal-containing accessories or clothing.

Scholarship Scheme
IIFT has a special provision for Scholarships and Financial Aid for students who meet certain specifications that are set by them. IIFT has a functional Need-Based Scholarship Scheme and under this arrangement, the institute makes the payment for the interest subsidy for a given amount of time, on an education loan taken by a candidate whose family has an annual income of less than INR 4.50 Lakhs.
Another scholarship scheme is available from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for four SC and four ST candidates who manage to obtain admission to IIFT.
Conditions to avail scholarship scheme are given below:
- The total family income of a candidate's family from all sources must not be more than INR 4.50 Lakhs per year.
- If a student fails to pass the final exam of each year of his/her PG degree or even a terminal exam, his scholarship will be automatically terminated.

Are NRI candidates eligible to gain admission for IIFT 2024?
Yes, NRI candidates can gain admission into this university if they have a valid GMAT score and if they fulfill the IIFT 2024 Eligibility criteria.
Is the work experience necessary for IIFT 2024?
