The candidates planning to appear for IIFT must be familiar with the IIFT exam marking scheme. In IIFT, students will get three marks for every correct answer in quantitative aptitude, VARC, and LRDI. Moreover, every right attempt in the GK section will fetch 1.5 marks. Further, the exam also includes negative markings for each of these sections.

The question paper of IIFT 2024 will contain 110 MCQs, and candidates must solve the paper within 2 hours. There is no time limit involved in any of the sections of IIFT. Key Changes in IIFT Exam Over the Years

- The exam timing of IIFT changed to 10 AM-12 PM; previously, it was 3 AM-5 PM.
- The IIFT form fee for reserved categories has been increased to INR 1250.
- Each section in IIFT will have a different number of questions.
- The IIFT exam marking scheme will also vary. VARC, DILR, and Quant sections follow the same scoring pattern, while the GK section will have a different marking system.
- In 2022, IIFT introduced a new Kakinada campus which offers 60 seats for admission.
