Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963. IIFT is located on a 6-acre lush-green campus in Delhi. IIFT was designated as a university in the year 2002. IIFT offers courses in the domain of BBA+MBA, MBA, MA (Economics), Executive PGDP and PhD (Part-time).

In the year 2017–18, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade worked with overseas institutions to host 22 students and exchange 37 students. IIFT, Delhi also held international training sessions and conferences, including one with 50 participants in Angola and another with 25 in Egypt.

IIFT Delhi Admission 2024

IIFT Delhi offers AICTE approved MBA in International Business Programme of 2-year duration Apart from the flagship MBA program.” IIFT Delhi also offers Executive Diploma courses in International Business (IB), Human Resource Management (EPGDHRM), International Business, and International Business Strategy.” 

For Admission to MBA courses at IIFT Delhi, the candidates need to attend CBT exam conducted by NTA(National Test Agency) on behalf of IIFT Delhi followed by Group Discussion, Writing Skills Assessment, and Interview.

IIFT Delhi PG Admission Eligibility Criteria

For MBA

• Candidates should have a recognized Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories].

For Integrated BBA+MBA

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more.

For MA 

• Candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized institute. Objective aptitude test and descriptive test.Graduation with Maths/ Economics as a subject with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

For Executive Post Graduate Diploma Programs

• Three years of working experience at the management/executive level is preferred. Graduation with 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) and Postgraduation degree or any professional degree such as HR, law, engineering, architecture, medicine, pharmaceutical, agriculture, horticulture, etc. with Two years of work experience.  

IIFT Delhi PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

For Ph.D

• Candidates should have completed a 1-year/2-semester master’s degree program after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree program or a 2-year/ 4-semester Master’s degree program after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree program or qualifications declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
