The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) designs the ATMA eligibility criteria 2025. It specifies the nationality, ideal age, educational qualifications, and various other eligibility conditions which the candidates must satisfy to apply for the exam. The exam is held five times every year.

Candidates are advised to go through the article thoroughly to get all the details about ATMA 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates must be a citizen of India to apply for it. The ATMA application form 2025 is available on the website until July 15, 2025. Further, the candidates must have passed their UG degree with at least 55% from a recognized university. The program-wise eligibility criteria have been shared below.

Eligibility Criteria for ATMA

The various conditions that a candidate must fulfil to apply for ATMA 2025 are discussed in this section.

The applicant must have completed 21 years of age on the date of admission to apply for the ATMA exam 2025.

CA Candidates: Candidates who have completed CA can also apply for ATMA 2025.

Work Experience: A candidate doesn't need to have work experience to apply for ATMA 2025. Candidates without any work experience can also fill out the ATMA application form.

ATMA Program-Wise Eligibility Criteria

ATMA 2025 is conducted for admissions to MBA, MCA, PGDM, PGDBA, and a few other postgraduate management courses. The eligibility conditions for some of the courses offered through the exam are discussed below:

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2025 for MBA

Nationality: Indian Nationals or the citizens of India are eligible to apply for ATMA 2025.

Age Limit: The applicant must be 21 years old to apply for ATMA.

Some other factors which will be considered for selection are:

  • The applicant's score in his/her qualifying examination.
  • The applicant's score in the ATMA entrance test.
  • Performance in GD and/or PI.

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2025 for MCA

The candidate should be an Indian National. He/she should have graduated with a BCA, with more than 50% marks. Candidates who will be appearing for the final year are also eligible to apply.

  • Lower Age Limit: The applicant must be at least 21 years old. The upper age limit is not specified.
  • Maximum No. of Attempts: Candidates can take the exam as many times as they want.

ATMA 2025 Eligibility Criteria for PGDM

Only Indian Nationals can apply for this course through ATMA 2025. The applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply for ATMA 2025.

ATMA College-Wise Eligibility Criteria

Various colleges grant admission based on the candidate's performance in the ATMA 2025. They, however, have distinct eligibility criteria for admission. The candidate must ensure that he/she meets the eligibility criteria for these institutes too before applying for the exam.

1. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Usha & Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management

A candidate must be a graduate to apply at BULMIM for admission. For candidates belonging to the General category, the institute accepts 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories must have attained 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

Those candidates who will be appearing for their final exams are also eligible to apply. They must, however, present their qualifying certificate within 90 days of taking admission.

2. IIHMR University

Candidates with a score of more than 50% are eligible to apply for admission to this university. Provisional admission is granted to candidates who will appear for their final examination in the current academic year. They will have to submit the certificate of qualifying examination within two months of the session's commencement.

3. St Francis Institute of Management and Research

Candidates who have cleared the ATMA 2025 exam and have scored more than 50% marks in their qualifying exam are eligible to apply at SFIMAR.

ATMA Exam Eligibility for Reserved Candidates

ATMA offers a concession for applicants belonging to certain categories. The details related to the same are:

The applicants must note that there is no concession in the ATMA application fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories. There are no reservation rules for the ATMA exam.

Documents Required to Apply Through ATMA Reservation Quota

ATMA does not allow any concessions or relaxations for reserved categories such as SC, ST or OBC. However, the participating colleges do offer certain relaxations to the claiming candidates. Such candidates will be asked to present the following documents at the time of application or admission:

  • Caste certificate
  • Caste or tribe validity certificate
  • Applicant's Aadhaar card

Stages After Satisfying ATMA Exam Eligibility

A candidate may proceed to apply for ATMA 2025 if he or she satisfies the eligibility criteria discussed on this page. The application process will be held online. Discussed below is the weightage for the complete admission process of ATMA 2025:

Note: An applicant must satisfy the ATMA entrance exam eligibility criteria, failing to which, AIMS will bar the applicant from attempting the test. Hence, the candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the exam.

ATMA Application Form

The AIMS ATMA exam is held five times a year. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above shall proceed to apply for ATMA 2025. Female applicants and candidates belonging to the North East are eligible to claim reservations, however, there are no concessions for candidates belonging to SC, ST, or any other minority communities. Some of the important pointers that the candidates must keep in mind while filling out the ATMA Application Form 2025 are:

  • Candidates can register for the examination online. 
  • Candidates must use a computer system to apply for ATMA. Filling the application form on a mobile phone or tablet is not recommended.
  • The form must be filled out completely and correctly. A partially filled application form or a form containing incorrect details is likely to get rejected at the later stages.
  • There is no age limit for candidates to appear in the ATMA entrance test 2025.
