XAT Cut Off 2024 (Out): Category-wise Cutoff for BM, HRM

XAT Cut Off 2024 has been released by XLRI Jamshedpur for both PGDM BM and PGDM HRM programs. XAT 2024 cut off for PGDM BM is 96 percentile for male candidates and 91 percentile for female candidates. XAT exam cutoff for XLRI for PGDM HRM is 95 and 90 percentile for male and female engineering applicants, respectively. The XAT 2024 cut off for the non-engineer candidates has also been provided in the sections below.

IMT Ghaziabad XAT cutoff is 90 percentile. IMI Delhi XAT cut off is between 87-90 percentile. XIMB XAT cut off is 90- 93 percentile. Both categories' sectional XLRI XAT college's cutoff remained in the 72-80 percentile range.

The average range of the XAT cut off is 90–98 percentile. XAT exam cutoff is 1-2 percentiles lower for female candidates. Candidates can apply for the Personal Interview (PI) phase, which will take place in Mar 2024, if they meet the XLRI Jamshedpur cut off 2024.

XAT Cut Off 2024

XAT Cut Off 2024 has been released after XAT Result 2024 for different categories. The overall XAT college cut off marks required for BM programs for female candidates is 91 percentile, and for male candidates, it is 96 percentile. For the HRM program, the XAT cutoff is 90 percentile for female candidates and 95 percentile for male candidates.

Candidates who reach the XAT exam cutoffs will be eligible for the Personal Interview (PI) phase, which will take place in Mar 2024.

Before announcing the XAT 2024 cutoff, the Xavier School of Management (XLRI) considers various factors. After the announcement of the results, the factors and determinants are examined to determine the cutoff for XAT 2024.

• Number of applications for XAT: A higher XAT cutoff 2024 is produced by more applicants for the exam.
• Total of XAT candidates: A higher cutoff for the XAT 2024 results from more applications.
• The difficulty level of the exam: XAT 2024 cutoff would be set on the lower side if the questions were assigned with a difficulty level that was on the higher side. The degree of complexity must be taken into account as a critical factor for determining the XAT XLRI cutoff.
• The total number of seats available: The XAT sectional cut off is established considering the number of seats available. If more seats are available than applicants, the XAT exam cutoff is at the lower end. XAT college cutoff will be set on the higher side if fewer seats and more applicants are available.

XAT 2024 Score Normalization

XAT score is not scaled or normalized because the XAT exam is conducted on a single day in a single slot. However, if the exam is conducted in two days or more, then XLRI will announce XAT score normalization well before.

The percentile calculation formula is given below.

• XAT Percentile = [1- (your rank in XAT 2024/ Total no. of participants in XAT 2024)*100]

To illustrate, consider this example:

• If you obtain the 100th rank in the XAT 2024 and a total of 50,000 candidates participate in it. Then, the percentile obtained by you will be:
• XAT Percentile = [1-(100/50,000)*100] = 80 percentile

What After XAT Cutoff 2024?

Following the release of the XAT 2024 cutoff, XLRI Jamshedpur revealed the list of shortlisted candidates for a group discussion/personal interview. Candidates should take the following actions to verify their names:

• Step 1: Candidates must go to XLRI's official website.
• Step 2: Next, choose the desired program from the drop-down menu:

• Human Resource Administration
• Business Administration
• Program for General Management

• Step 3: Next, input your XAT ID and password.
• Step 4: The names of the candidates who have been shortlisted will then flash on the computer screen.

XAT Selection Procedure 2024

Candidates are chosen for admission to the PGDM programs at XLRI Jamshedpur based on their performance on the XAT, in Group Discussions (GD), and in Personal Interviews (PI).

The institute sets a minimum cutoff for the HRM and BM programs based on category for this reason. Candidates must complete an online application form if they meet XLRI cutoff. The institute then selects the applicants for the GD/PI round.

In Mar 2024, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Jamshedpur will host this GD/PI round. Candidates are narrowed down for an admissions offer following the personality assessment process. XAT selected applicants to receive email admission offers in May 2024.
