University of Mysore [UOM] was established on July 27, 1916, and is located in Mysore, Karnataka. It is the first state university in Karnataka and the sixth oldest university in the country. It was the first university to be accredited by NAAC in 2000 with five-star status. It has got a 4-star rating in Karnataka State Universities Rating Framework [KSURF]. The university is a global hub of education with many international students. University of Mysore Admission

University of Mysore admission can be completed online by visiting the college's official website. Candidates can pay an amount specified on the website to acquire an application form for each course. The candidate must take the entrance exam for the topic in question. The institute invites applications from eligible individuals for various post-graduate degrees in arts, commerce, law, education, and science through its online admissions site. University of Mysore announced the scheme B selection list 2022 for all PG programs and the round 3 selection list for M.Com. The university had previously announced the round 2 merit list for its postgraduate programs on January 19, 2022. The casual round of admission, slated for January 24, follows the round 2 merit. LLM, MA, MBA, MCom, MTech, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Arch, M.Lib.I.Sc, Master of Social Work (MSW), and MSc are among the PG programs for which merit lists have been produced.

University of Mysore placements according to the NIRF report 2022, during undergraduate placements in 2021, 26 students out of 31 were placed. Furthermore, during the 2020 university placements undergraduate (5-year) and postgraduate (1-year) postings, the median package offered was INR 3.62 LPA and INR 1.22 LPA, respectively. If a student is admitted to scheme A, he/she is required to pay INR 14000/-. Through Scheme B, which is are management seats the students are required to pay around INR 70000/- There are a number of scholarships for meritorious students from both state and central government

There are inter-college fests conducted in the commerce department. The department even organizes national level seminars and workshops. Has a good exposure.

Fees and Scholarship

The course fee is INR 3,000 to 4,000 per annum. Yes, scholarships like Vidhysiri, Karnataka Post metric scholarship are available. Around 80% of students got the scholarship. Loans are available from State Bank of India if needed.

College Infrastructure

Classroom facilities are good but I don't know anything about the hostels. There are many PGs available nearby the college.
