The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) sets the ATMA exam pattern 2025. The test pattern depicts the overall structure of the ATMA question paper. The ATMA 2025 exam pattern includes the number of questions asked, total marks, weightage of each section, exam duration, and other details. 

The ATMA question paper will be divided into six sections, where each section will carry 30 questions. The candidates will have 3 hours to solve the entire question paper. A total of 180 multiple-choice questions must be answered by the candidates. The candidates must complete the exam within 180 minutes, which means candidates get one minute time for each question.

As per ATMA pattern candidates will have to answer 180 questions in 180 minutes. The question paper is divided into 6 sections, and each section carries an equal number of questions, i.e., 30. 

Does ATMA have negative marking? Yes, candidates must note that negative marking is applicable in ATMA 2025, hence, it is advised that they only answer a question if they are sure of the answer.

  • Books, notepads, calculators, slide rules, mobile phones, and other electronic devices are not permissible.
  • The candidates will get 30 minutes to solve each section. Hence, they must not take more than 1 minute to answer a question.

ATMA Marking Scheme

As per ATMA exam pattern 2025, the test paper will have a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options. One out of the four options provided will be the correct answer to the question.

The candidates must note thatthe  ATMA exam negative marking is applicable in ATMA 2025. The ATMA exam marking scheme is given below:

How to Attempt ATMA Exam Questions?

As the ATMA exam is a computer-based test, candidates must be aware of how to attempt each question. Here is a list of instructions that the students must follow. 

  • As per the ATMA exam pattern 2025, students must choose one option out of four in each question.
  • As there is a negative marking, candidates must be mindful in choosing the answers. 
  • As there are sectional timings, they will be provided 30 minutes for each section. Therefore, candidates must answer all the questions within the given time. 
  • The applicants are advised to read the questions carefully and mark the answers. Try to answer the easiest questions first and then answer the difficult questions. 

ATMA Exam Day Guidelines

Since ATMA will be an internet-based test in the year 2025, the candidates are expected to abide by some instructions given by the conducting authorities. The ATMA previous year question paper is a good way to prepare for the exam.

  • The candidates must show a hard copy of their ATMA Hall Ticket 2025, and a government-issued photo ID proof to be allowed to take the test.
  • The exam is generally held between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The candidates must set up their desks by 1:00 PM to complete the frisking formalities sans hassle.
  • Do NOT press the F5 key, as it will end your exam.
  • For rough work, the candidates must keep 1 or 2 blank sheets of paper in handy. They will, however, be required to show their paraphernalia to the proctor before using them.
  • Candidates cannot jump between the sections.
