KGEC Admission:

The college is a top engineering college has engineering courses with several specializations. The college also provides MCA and the admission procedure is different for each course.   • Classes in college begin from 10:30 am to 4:50 pm. I am working on a project on Drowsiness Detection for my final year. We have to give 2 assignments and 2 internals for each subject before our semester exams. Most of our faculty have done Ph.D , most of them are working on projects which is financed by WBUT now MAKAUT.
  • The teachers are friendly and the quality and methods of teaching are good. They are interactive but also very particular about punctuality and discipline. Our college not only conducts educational conferences like IEEE or robotics workshop but also events like fest Espektro , usually held on March every year.
  • My experience for almost 4 years of stay in this college has been very educative and inspiring.

Fees and Scholarship

In mechanical and electrical department (BTech) course fee is  INR 3000 per semester and INR 1000 is examination fee. There are half free and full free scholarships available but T&C applied.

I haven't done any internship but many of our college student done many internships in many places. The company like TCS, Wipro are the mass recruiting companies. The average salary is INR 30k per month. No comment on alumni work.

Course fee can vary according to the course. Like I'm in IT department so my fee is INR 12 k per semester. 30% of student can get the scholarship.
