University of Kalyani was founded in 1960, and is also known as Kalyani University (KU), and it oversees 64 associated colleges, all of which grant CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System) degrees. University of Kalyani Admission

University of Kalyani admissions process recognizes both entry and merit-based admissions. Due to the recent pandemic, KU has eliminated the written entrance exam for practically all programs. Between June and August, the university's admissions window for honors and ordinary programs opens. It conducts separate entrance tests, interviews, and group discussions to evaluate some of the courses and admittance to others is solely dependent on merit in the qualifying examination.

University of Kalyani Eligibility Criteria

University of Kalyani uses the WBJEE entrance examination to determine admission to B.Tech programs. The JECA entrance examination is used to select students for MCA programs. The CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ JEMAT examination is used to determine MBA admission, followed by a personal interview and a group discussion. The department will conduct a written test and an interview for admission to the M.Tech. program.
