KEAM Counselling 2021: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment, Documents Required

Counselling related information will be available on the official website once the KEAM 2021 exam has been held succesfully.  For KEAM counselling 2021, candidates need to have all the original copies of their academic certificates. Downloaded mark-sheets and scanned certificates are not allowed at the venue. Those candidates who have cleared the cut off of KEAM 2021 exam can register for the online counselling. Counselling procedure will start after the online registration. The choice of colleges and courses has to be submitted after registration. KEAM 2021 Steps to register for the Counselling

Step 1: Registration 

  • The candidates will have to log in using their KEAM 2021 roll number and application number.
  • After logging in, the candidates will have to submit their key number and password. The key number is a 16 digit alphanumeric code which is provided to the registered candidates on the security card.

Step 2: Selection of Courses and Colleges

  • After successfully logging in, candidates can check the list of participating colleges and courses which will be displayed on a screen.
  • The candidates will have an option to select colleges from the available options in the order of preference. It is recommended to fill maximum choices to have a better chance of admission.
  • The options selected by the candidates will be visible on the screen. Click on the “Save” button to save the selection.
  • Double-check the order of preference as allotment of seats during counselling will be done accordingly.

Step 3: Filter Option

  • Candidates have the option of filtering the choices entered by using the edit button and add or drop a course or college as per your preference. Once done, submit the form.
  • After the submission of the choices, the candidates will be able to review the selection.
  • The candidate is advised to take the print-out of the filled details while the time of counselling for further usage.

KEAM 2021 Final Seat Allotment

  • System: Final seats would be allotted to the candidates will be done via the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) through Single Window System (SWS).
  • An online list will be announced where the selected candidates and their allotted institutes will be present on the official website of KEAM.
  • All the candidates who will be allotted the seat will have to pay the tuition fees at the CEE account in the specified branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT).
  • Ranking Based Counselling: Allotment of seats and admission procedure will be purely based on the rank obtained in KEAM 2021. To confirm the admission the candidates have to report back to the college after the final seat allotment.

  • KEAM 2021 Admit card
  • Result Sheet of KEAM 2021
  • 6 Passport size photographs of the candidate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Physical Fitness Certificate
  • Fees receipt issued by the bank
  • Eligibility Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Allotment Memo issued by the CEE
  • Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended
  • Original mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or equivalent) and the Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued)
  • Original mark list of D-Pharm. Part-I and Part-II examinations and Diploma in Pharmacy certificate(if applicable)
  • Eligibility certificate from the University of Kerala, in the case of candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than Higher Secondary Examination/Vocational Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Government of Kerala or the examination conducted by CBSE and CISCE.
  • Any other documents required by the Head of Institution.

KEAM Mop Up Counselling

The KEAM exam conducting authorities will conduct a mop up counselling to fill up vacant seats, if any, after the centralised allotment process is completed. The candidates who have been given seats in Government colleges must refrain from applying in the spot-allotment round. However, those candidates who have been given seats into any Government-Controlled Self Financing institutes may participate in the spot allotment/mop up round at any government college.

What after the KEAM 2021 Seat Allotment ?

Once the candidates have finished the seat allotment procedure and all the seats have been allotted, they have to report to the respective colleges. Candidates have to report to these candidates along with their documents and confirm their admission. Candidates will also have to pay their course fees as prescribed by the University during admissions.

Ans. The authority will conduct KEAM 2021 counselling after the results have been declared. 

Q. Can candidates change the date and time of KEAM 2021 counselling?

Ans. No, candidates are not allowed to change the date and time of counselling process.

Q. Is it necessary to have a provisional certificate during counselling?

Ans. It is not necessary to have the provisional certificates of class 10, 12 and degree during counselling but at the time of joining candidates need to submit it within a week.
