KEAM Seat Allotment 2023: Process, Verification, Documents Required

KEAM seat allotment 2023 is conducted in three rounds: round I, round II, and stray round by the official website of CEE. The seat allotment final result for the second round has been released for MBBS and BDS courses. KEAM 2023 allotment is provided to only those candidates who filled out the form and paid the fees within the stipulated time. The latest notification for third phase seat allotment result for Medical courses was released on Oct 30, 2023. 

The provisional result was declared on Aug 25, 2023, and the final result on Aug 26, 2023. Candidates selected in the second round will have to report to their respective colleges for admission from Sep 2 to 4, 2023. KEAM 2023 third phase seat allotment for Engineering and second phase seat allotment for Architecture course was published on Sep 2, 2023.

KEAM Seat Allotment 2023 Process

Candidates who want to participate in KEAM seat allotment 2023 must begin with registration. Additionally, candidates have to keep their application number and password handy to apply.

The process to register KEAM seat allotment 2023 are as follows:

• Candidates have to visit the official portal cee.kerala.gov.in
• Next, candidates must log on to the ‘Candidate Portal’ using their application number and password.
• The next step is to proceed with option registration by clicking the ‘Option Registration’ link.
• Further, candidates have to pay the option registration fee and register themselves.
• Now, they must save the registered option. 
• Candidates must view the registration slip and take a printout of the same. 

Stages of KEAM Seat Allotment 2023

Upon registering for KEAM seat allotment 2023, candidates will receive further notification. All the dates and registration details will be available through the official website. The stages of KEAM allotment are as follows:

KEAM Seat Allotment Schedule 2023

Once the registration process is completed, the KEAM seat allotment 2023 begins for all courses. Candidates can check and take a printout of the KEAM allotment 2023.

The same will reflect the name of the college and the course assigned to the candidates, and the amount to be paid for reserving the allotment. 

KEAM Seat Allotment Remittance of Fee

The amount mentioned in the KEAM seat allotment 2023 memo has to be paid by all the candidates at the college as per the notification released by CEE.

• If a candidate fails to pay the fee and join the college, their KEAM seat allotment 2023 and existing options will be nulled. 
• Further, if the candidates once lose the option, there will be no going back.
• Moreover, candidates who have not received any notice about KEAM first allotment 2023 but have received the notification for KEAM second allotment 2023 will have to pay the fee. 
• If a candidate has a different allotment than the one received during the CEE Kerala KEAM first allotment, the fee for which is higher than that remitted as per the first allotment. In that case, they will have to remit the difference in fee. The difference amount will be deducted as shown in the KEAM allotment memo.
• Suppose the fee for the course allotted in the KEAM second allotment result is less than or the same as the fee paid as CEE Kerala KEAM first allotment result. In that case, the candidate will make no further payment.
• The same the process will be repeated in the subsequent KEAM seat allotments.

KEAM Trail Allotment 2023

The KEAM trial allotment 2023 presents an idea to the candidates about the actual process of allotting colleges and courses. It does not guarantee any admission to the preferred college or course. 

KEAM Seat Allotment 2023 Round I

As discussed earlier, CEE Kerela KEAM first allotment 2023 is done on the performance of the candidates. 

• The seats are allotted based on the rank/ merit list.
• The KEAM seat allotment 2023 is done under CAP.
• The seats are allotted under the state merit list.
• Once it is exhausted, the seats will be allotted based on quota reservation. 
• Additionally, if the candidates fail to report to the college allotted to them, the candidature will be cancelled. 

KEAM Seat Allotment 2023 Round II

The name of candidates whose names were not under the KEAM first allotment 2023 will receive them under KEAM 2023 second allotment. However, they have to qualify for the basic eligibility and cutoffs. 

• Candidates can reserve seats by paying the remittance fee. 
• Next, if they were allotted seats in the first round and want to participate in KEAM 2nd allotment 2023, they must pay the difference fee. 
• The same process will be followed in the subsequent rounds. 

KEAM Seat Allotment 2023 Mop-Up Round and Stray Round

CEE is the committee responsible for preparing and presenting the detailed mop-up round and stray round KEAM seat allotment 2023. If any seats remain vacant after the KEAM allotment, the KEAM mop-up allotment 2023 is conducted. 

Further, the authority does not permit any kind of change of course in the same college during the KEAM allotment 2023 mop-up and stray except for Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy courses. 

Verification of the KEAM Seat Allotment 2023 and Reporting

After each KEAM seat allotment 2023 is conducted, the candidates must produce valid documents for admission. The list of documents is mentioned below. Additionally, candidates must be present in the assigned college during the allotted time and date. If anyone fails to report, their seats will be cancelled.

• Result/ report of KEAM 2023
• Current photographs of the candidate in passport size
• Date of birth certificate
• Migration certificate 
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended
• KEAM allotment Memo issued by the CEE
• KEAM seat acceptance fee certificate
• Category certificate, if any
• A medical certificate, if any.

Once the seat allotment procedure is seat allottemnt process is over, candidates must report to the allotted college. Candidates carry all the mentioned documents and confirm their admission. Also, candidates must pay course fees as the University prescribes during admission.
