CMAT Qualifying Marks 2023 has no limit as such, however a candidate must score a minimum of 120 CMAT score to secure admission into Management colleges. For admission to the top MBA colleges it is generally necessary to score a minimum marks of 250 in CMAT.

The NTA conducts the CMAT exams on an annual basis. Around 1000 top Business Schools accept CMAT scores for admission to the MBA and PGDM courses offered.

The National Testing Agency has not released any criteria for CMAT Passing Marks 2023 as such. However, a CMAT Score above 120 is considered safe, and candidates may be able to get quite a few Management college options. A good score in the CMAT exam ranges from 250-300 (out of 400 marks) to get admission into good colleges.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline to be eligible for CMAT. It is important to know about the eligibility criteria for appearing in the CMAT exam, and candidates must read the points mentioned below to know the eligibility criteria for CMAT.

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) from a recognized University.
  • The NTA has not set any upper limit age for the CMAT examination.
  • A candidate with no prior work experience in the field of Management can also apply for the CMAT examination.

CMAT Selection Procedure 2023

The CMAT Selection Procedure 2023 will be followed by multiple counselling sessions and seat allotment into different colleges or universities. Candidates can refer to the steps below to understand the selection process in CMAT.

  • The authority will release the notifications for the Counselling session on the official website.
  • After releasing the notification, the Counselling session phase 1 notification will be released. The names of the eligible and selected candidates will be displayed along with the reporting date, time and venue. This process will take place multiple times until all seats are filled.
  • Candidates will be allotted college seats based on the college’s cut off and candidate’s rank.
  • After the final counselling session, the dates for reporting to the allotted colleges will be shared, and all candidates must report to the colleges on time to finalise the admission process.
