CAT Exam Day Instructions

CAT exam day instructions must be strictly followed by the candidates. 

• CAT 2023 admit must be carried with Photo ID proof in two copies (original and photocopy)
• Only the CAT exam hall ticket 2023 and a photo ID card are permitted inside the testing facility.
• The authorities will supply a writing pad and a pen for rough work, which must be returned following the test. On the writing pad, candidates must put their names and registration numbers.

A brand-new feature has been introduced to the IIM CAT admit card 2023. A Google map link. Now that candidates know the precise location of their exam centres, last-minute mayhem can be avoided. How to use the Google Map Link is as follows:

• Download IIMCAT 2023 admit card.
• To use a Google Map, click the link on their  CAT admit card 2023.
• The browser will open Google Maps.
• Select "Directions" from the menu.
• Choose the mode of conveyance and enter the starting place.
• Candidates can access their centre by using the map presented for their destination centre.

Through this service, candidates can also access the exam centre's phone number, which they can use for any questions regarding the exam's location. Use the "Send the directions to your phone" option if you're accessing the service from a laptop to obtain the directions on your phone.

How to Get a Scribe Facility in CAT 2023?

The ability to use a scribe for the exam is not offered at the testing location or based on an IIMCAT admit card; candidates must request this option while filling out the CAT application form. Candidates who choose the option must download the Scribe Certificate format from the official website, complete the form's fields with their information, self-attest the certificate, and upload it while completing the application.

• Scribes are permitted for PWD applicants who suffer from conditions like visual impairment, locomotor disability, and other disabilities.
• On exam day, bring a Scribe Affidavit with your admit card and ID.
• The scribe must also provide a valid ID.
• Candidates who choose the scribe facility will also receive CAT exam time.
• Obtain CAT Scribe Affidavit.

CAT 2023 COVID-19 Guidelines

Candidates must adhere to the COVID-19 rules when registering for the CAT 2023 exam.

• Self-Declaration Form for the CAT: On exam day, candidates are asked to print, complete, and bring the self-declaration form. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam if they arrive at the testing location without a self-declaration form.
• Social Distancing in the Exam Room: The exam room will adhere to social distancing norms. Candidates must sit according to the authority's chosen seating arrangement.
• Exam room sanitization: All tools, including the computer, mouse, keyboard, and seats, will be cleaned and sanitized.
• Mask: A mask must be worn at all times while entering the exam centre. Candidates will also be required to wear masks during the exam.
• Body temperature to be checked using a thermal gun: Candidates' body temperatures will be checked with thermal guns. Candidates with high body temperature won't be let into the exam room.
• Candidates may also bring their own little bottle of hand sanitiser and water to the testing location.
