CAT 2023 Application Form Correction Window

While filling out the CAT 2023 application form, candidates must ensure to furnish accurate details. However, if they have made any errors in the application form, they can make changes through the CAT 2023 Application Form Correction window.

Candidates are allowed to make changes in their photograph and signature, as well as test city preferences. Note that the CAT application form correction window opens for a short period of time (2-5 days).

• Email ID

If there is any error in your email ID, mobile number, birth date, etc., then you cannot alter details using the CAT application form correction window. In such a case, you will be required to register again for the CAT with a new email address. Moreover, you will not be entitled to a refund of the previous registration.

How to Make Changes in the CAT Application Form 2023?

Through the CAT application form correction window, students can make changes free of cost. Below are the steps that you must follow in order to modify the information on your CAT application form 2023:

• Step 1: Go to the CAT 2023 official website
• Step 2: Next, click on this tab - “Existing User.”
• Step 3: Then, log in with your user ID and password
• Step 4: Now, students can make changes to their photograph, test city preference, and signature.
• Step 5: Once you have made all the required changes, click on the “save” tab.
• Step 6: Lastly, download the modified CAT 2023 application form and take its printout for future purposes.

Tips to Avoid Errors in the CAT 2023 Application Form

It is important to avoid making mistakes while filling out exam forms. Check out these useful tips to register for CAT 2023 without any errors or hassles:

• Fill out the application form for CAT 2023 before the last date, i.e., 13th September 2023. 
• It is recommended to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to fill out the CAT 2023 application form.
• Do not fill up the form using a smartphone. Instead, make use of a laptop or a desktop.
• Provide accurate information in the form and check for spelling errors.
• Any mandatory field should not be left blank.
• Make sure you have received acknowledgement of your application fee payment. Note that the CAT application fee is INR 2200 for general category candidates and INR 1100 for reserved category candidates.
• Ensure that you have a copy of the duly filled out form and the receipt for your fee payment.
• Candidates are encouraged to double-check their details before submitting the application form to avoid any mistakes.

Remember that the CAT 2023 Application Form Correction requests will not be accepted once the CAT application form correction window is closed. Authorities will allocate the exam centre based on the test city selected by the candidate. The exam centre location will be given on the CAT 2023 admit card.

CAT 2023 Admit Card: Important Points

The CAT 2023 admit card can be downloaded from 25th October 2023 (5:00 PM) until the day of the exam, 26th November 2023. Here are some essential details related to the CAT 2023 admit card or hall ticket:

• Applicants can download their hall tickets from the official website using their login credentials.
• The CAT admit card will contain candidate details, photo, roll number, signature, venue, reporting time, and COVID-19 guidelines.
• Applicants must download 2 copies of their CAT hall ticket and paste the photo in the required field.
• The admit card will have the COVID-19 declaration attached to it. It should be filled and duly signed by the candidate before arriving at the exam venue.
• Besides the CAT hall ticket and valid photo ID, applicants need to carry other items like a blue ballpoint pen, facemask, hand sanitizer, and drinking water.
