- In the interest of aspirants, it is advised to visit the test location at least a day before the CAT Exam 2020. This will help them to get acquainted with the route of the journey.

Create the profile: Candidates can choose their preferred CAT test city from the above-mentioned test cities. To choose the test centre, they have to first create a profile on the official CAT exam website and register for CAT 2020.
Exam authority: The exam authority tries to allow the first preferred CAT test centre to all candidates but there may be some circumstances they might allow another test centre to the candidate, depending on the number students applying for CAT exam 2020.

Login to the profile: Create a profile on the official CAT 2020 website i.e, iimcat.ac.in, Log in to your profile with the user id and password.
Fill and select: Go to the link to fill up the application form online, select their preferred exam centre very carefully in the Application form.
Prohibited items: Things like jewellery, watches, electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, etc. or any other metal item are not allowed inside the exam centres.
Entry Timings: You should make sure you are at the venue 15 minutes before the reporting time to be on the safer side. The last entry to the exam centres will end at 8:45 AM for the forenoon session and 2:15 PM for the afternoon session. After which no one will be allowed to enter the exam centre.

- Ans: You must produce the admit card on the day of the exam at the CAT Exam Centre. Take a clear printout of the CAT Admit Card and follow the instruction mentioned on it.

- Ans: You are not allowed to carry a calculator to the exam centre. However, you may use the on-screen calculator available on the computer screen.
