MAT Selection Process 2025 will be conducted by each college independently and not in a centralized fashion. The MAT 2025 exam is conducted by AIMA, and the scores of this exam are accepted by about 650 management colleges in the country. The MAT admission process 2025 includes a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). You can select five colleges while filling out the application form. 

AIMA MAT will send your scores to the respective colleges for admission shortlist. Aspirants of this exam must select the colleges where you would like to take admission while considering your test scores. The institution will decide on any further test or interview process for admission. The MAT Selection Process 2025 will be organized individually by each college. You can find the details below.

MAT Selection Process and Admission Procedure

AIMA MAT Selection procedure involves choosing you through in-person and group interviews. Only after the MAT Results 2025 are declared on July 24, 2025, the counselling will take place. After the results, information on the MAT 2025 Counseling schedule will be released.

All of you who have been shortlisted will be called in for the document verification and MAT selection process in 2025. Candidates at MAT Counseling 2025 must go through two to three rounds of group discussions, one-on-one interviews, and a few written exams.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the MAT Selection Process for you seeking admission to MBA courses or PGDM programs provided by various affiliated colleges/institutions of the university. You should be aware that there is no centralized MAT Selection Process process at AIMA. Each participating management institute will handle the MAT admissions process individually.

The MAT Participating Institutes 2025 will conduct the MAT selection process 2025 after the announcement of the exam results. Those who pass the MAT in 2025 must submit separate applications to the participating institutes. You should know that the MAT 2025 selection procedure differs from institute to institute. While some participating institutes will perform the MAT 2025 selection process offline, others will do so online. You must prepare a list of colleges where your exam score is acceptable, and apply before the deadline allotted to them.   • Participating colleges release merit lists for all relevant courses offered at their institution. The ones who get chosen are sent an email containing the call letter.
  • The acceptable percentile score will differ for each participating college. Several colleges conduct their entrance exams, and at the same time, accept MAT applicants too. 
  • Yu will be invited to participate in Selection Process rounds via email. The dates will depend upon the number of applicants and the seats available.

While some have a provision for offline registrations, others only allow online registrations. Factors Affecting MAT Selection Procedure

Factors affecting the MAT Selection Procedure are as follows:

  • MAT 2025 Exam Score: The ones who have a better MAT exam score, will be automatically given priority.
  • Date of Birth: In any case, if two of you have the same MAT cut off in the merit list then, the date of birth benefit will be given to the older candidate.

For NRI Candidates

  • If you are the son/daughter of NRI personnel then you must hold a valid passport to fulfil the NRI quota process.
  • 5% of seats are reserved for these candidates.
  • In case there is a non-availability of NRI candidates, then the seats will be filled through the general intake.

No, AIMA does not conduct centralised counselling for admission through MAT exam. It only sends the MAT scorecard of candidates to the participating institutes for further process. If a candidate loses their MAT scorecard, they can download it again from the official AIMA website. Applicants can follow the steps as follows: Visit the official website. Click on the "Download/View" option on the homepage. Now select the "MAT Score and Interpretation" option from the dropdown menu. The login preface will open on the screen. Enter your login details, i.e., your registration number and date of birth. The MAT scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Click on "Download."
