One must also note that each institute conducts its admission process separately.

  • Step 2: After the announcement of the result, candidates must register for subsequent rounds.

SNAP Admission Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through the pre-defined SNAP 2025 admission criteria carefully during the application process. It includes a few major stages that analyze the applicants' abilities and skills after the SNAP results. The SNAP Marks vs Percentile 2025 must be checked by the candidates to check their achieved marks and list down the colleges accordingly.

The candidates will be called for the SNAP GE, PI or WAT rounds, only if they meet the SNAP cutoff fixed for that academic year. Each institute sets their individual cutoff marks based on its requirements and parameters.

SNAP Group Exercise

This is the first round of the selection process:

  • The candidate's skill and potential will be assessed through group exercises.
  • This phase is comparable to a group discussion in which the applicants will be assigned a topic and graded on their communication, problem-solving, and concentration skills.
  • Approximately 7-8 candidates will be separated into groups and will be asked to discuss the provided topic for 15-20 minutes.

SNAP Personal Interaction

SNAP Personal Interaction is the final step of the process, and it has a total weightage of 30 marks. Confidence, creativity, and an innovative bent of mind are the necessary parameters mentioned in the SNAP admission criteria, based on which the students will be evaluated.

The candidate's academic excellence will also be considered for PI shortlisting.

  • Selected candidates from the GE phase will be invited to a personal interaction round.
  • This is mainly conducted to assess the candidate's interpersonal skills and confidence.

SNAP Written Ability Test

The written ability test is the final round involved in the SNAP admission criteria 2025 that carries 10 marks.

  • Candidates will be given a topic and asked to write an essay. It will be in pen-and-paper mode.
  • The candidate's grammar, vocabulary, and writing abilities will be examined.
  • Applicant's writing skills along with his/her knowledge and insights about the given subject are tested in this round of SNAP selection criteria.

SNAP Merit List and Parameters

The final merit list of selected candidates is compiled based on their performance in each selection phase. Candidates are graded in each round, and a composite score is assigned. The admission offer is sent based on the final score.
