GMAT Counselling 2024: Participating Institutes

GMAT counselling 2024 will be conducted for those candidates who qualify for the exam with marks above the cut off. The cut off for GMAT 2024 entrance exam varies from one institute to another institute. Hence, it depends on the scorecards of the candidates.

Students must keep checking with the desired university or institute. If a candidate has secured the cut off for a particular institute/college they will be called for counselling. All candidates must check the deadlines for the desired institute and colleges.

If a candidate's marks are as per the cut off for GMAT 2024, they can apply to that particular college/university/institute. They can proceed further with the counselling process. GMAT 2024 counselling process has a separate procedure like Group Discussion and then Personal Interviews.

After qualifying these, a candidate can take admission in that particular desirable institutes after receiving the final and official GMAT results.

GMAT 2024 Counselling Highlights

GMAT admission procedure for the students who have scored above GMAT cut off finalized by institutes can attend GMAT 2024 counselling. Candidates have a choice of sending their scores to institutes at the time of the exam. If candidates score enough marks needed for a particular business school or college they are called for further rounds.

For business schools abroad especially the USA and Canada, the GMAT score is not the only requirement. Along with a valid GMAT score, candidates have to make a college application that will consist of many different things like statements of purpose, recommendation letters, and other documents.

Every institute or college will have different requirements. The GMAT counselling process varies according to the univesity/college.

Based on the application of the candidate, they will be called for a personal interview or group discussion or both depending on the institute. For example, HBS, i.e.., Harvard Business School which is the top business school in the world, requires the candidate to submit educational transcripts, personal essays, letters of recommendation, resume, TOEFL score along with the GMAT score. Afterward, the shortlisted candidate will be called for an interview and then the final selection will be done.

Candidates should read GMAT handbook available on GMAT official website to know about counselling dates for an institute to which they apply.

The following is the process for getting admission into colleges accepting GMAT scores.

• Score Card: GMAT fee includes the cost of 5 free score reports.
• Universities: Before the start of GMAT 2024 exam, candidates have an option to add 5 programs from those colleges in which he/she is interested in. And their score report shall be sent to those colleges.
• Deciding a University: It is advised to decide on the programs and colleges a prospective candidate is interested in as early as possible.
• Research: Candidates of the GMAT entrance exam must research a stream of management he/she wants to study. Moreover, he or she must check the geographical locations of that college to be able to wisely pick a perfect b school.

Admissions depend on GMAT score, work experience, written essays, letter of recommendation, SoPs or Statement of Purpose and of course the fortune of a candidate.
