KCET Application Form 2024 (Extended): Registration (Till Apr 12)

KCET Application Form 2024 submission date has been extended by the Karnataka Exam Authority. The authority has announced that those candidates who failed to pay the fee or have not selected CET in combined application can visit the KEA office and submit their application form. The last date for KCET registration 2024 is Apr 12, 2024 (till 5 PM). Along with the form students need to submit a DD of INR 600 drawn in favor of the Executive Director, KEA, Bangalore.

Furthermore, KEA stated students who enrol for the exams within this extended period will be assigned Bangalore as KCET exam centre 2024. KCET Application Form 2024 is available on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in.

Additionally, KEA will release a list of candidates who could not be considered for "Reservation" status due to a discrepancy in their RD certificate and KCET application form. Students were able to review this list on Feb 28, 2024. Applicants can correct their name in the RD certificate and upload it between Apr 1 to Apr 15, 2024.

Steps to Fill KCET 2024 Application Form

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released KCET 2024 application form on the official website on Jan 10, 2024. However, the form filling has been extended again for the fourth time. Candidates can submit the application form along with the fee payment till Apr 12, 2024 till 5 PM.

On Feb 20, 2024, KEA released a notification for students claiming reservations but being put under General Merit due to a mismatch between their names in the RD certificate and SSLC marks card. Applicants must review the names released on Feb 28, 2024, and correct and upload the rectified documents between Apr 1 to Apr 15, 2024.

Step 4: Make the Payment of KCET Application Form Fee

• Payment via DD: The KCET application fees can be paid through a demand draft. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of the "Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)," payable at Bangalore.
• Payment via Challan: KCET exam fees 2024 can be paid through a bank challan at any branch of State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Indian Bank, Central Bank of India, Axis Bank, or e-post office.

Step 5: Submission of KCET Application Form

Once all the details are filled in, candidates must review the entire application form and submit the details. To submit the application form, candidates will have to accept the declaration and submit the form.

The printout of the download of the KCET application form must be attested by the School Principal or PU of the institute/school/college studied or currently studying or by any Gazetted Officer.

KCET RD Certificates

Applicants who filled out the KCET application form 2024 with incorrect information have been notified via the official website. Applicants with mismatched data will be given the chance to upload the correct KCET RD Certificates from Apr 1 to 15, 2024.

KCET application form 2024 important guidelines have been released by the authority as the candidates were facing issues for the KCET 2024 registration process. Candidates are advised to remember the following pointers while filling out the KCET 2024 application form.

• Applicants who are applying for the ex-defense certificates through the Seva Sindhu Portal can either use their Army Number or CET application number to apply for the exam.
• Those who have studied for 7 years in Karnataka and completed their 10th from Karnataka need not to submit any 11th or 12th certificate while filling out the application form.

Candidates need not submit any documents if the above information has been fetched from the SATS Database.

• Students need to upload their certificate from 1st to 10th standard if they are claiming Religious/ Linguistic Minority reservations.
• It will be fine if the schools/colleges issue the study certificate as the documents uploaded by the candidates will be sent to the BEO/DDPU for verification.
• The countersignature of BEO/DDPU is not required.

KCET 2024 application correction facility was opened on the official website on Feb 10, 2024. Candidates can follow the given steps to access the correction facility of the KCET 2024 application form.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the KEA official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea
• Step 2: They must click the 'UGCET 2024 Edit Option Final Opportunity' tab.
• Step 3: They must provide their Login ID/Reg No and password.
• Step 4: Applicants must click on 'Login'.
• Step 5: Candidates can now make corrections to the KCET 2024 application form. The correction has to be made and submitted before Jul 1, 2024.

The official brochure has provided the details for the KCET form 2024 last date to apply which is Apr 12, 2024. While filling out the KEA KCET application form 2024, candidates must upload the scanned image photograph, the candidate's parent signature, and a left-hand thumb impression.

KCET 2024 Instructions for Submission of Special Category Certificates

According to the official notification, after the KCET exam in 2024, other dates and locations will be notified at kea.kar.nic.in. The deadline for submitting special category certificates will be provided.

Furthermore, the KCET admit card 2024 date is yet to be published on the KEA website by the authorities.

• Candidates must request a special category reservation in the KCET application form 2024 online. Those not claiming their special category certificates will be ineligible to submit them.
