KCET Eligibility Criteria 2026
While progressing to apply for the KCET, candidates are required to be Indian citizens. The candidates necessarily need to pass the 10+2 from any government-recognised institution of Karnataka recognised institution.
Additionally, the academic institution must be located in Karnataka.
Further, KCET eligibility requirements mention Kannada medium candidates who have studied for 10 years from classes 1 to 10. However, candidates from outside Karnataka are not eligible to apply for KCET.

KCET Exam Pattern 2026
The KCET exam is organised in pen-and-paper mode, which is offline. Therefore, candidates will receive OMR sheets, wherein they need to circle the right answers. There will be four choices of answers; the correct one is demanded to be circled.
However, candidates should keep in mind that once the answer is circled, it cannot be altered. In any case, if the candidates mark two answers, the answer will be considered cancelled.
