How to fill JEE Main Application Form 2021?
All aspiring candidates need to follow the given below admission procedure while filling the JEE Main 2021 application form.
- Visit the official website of NTA JEE Mains 2021- jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Register using a name, email ID, and contact number
- Upon successful registration, access the JEE Mains form 2021 and fill up with all personal and academic details
- Upload the scanned copies of a passport-size photograph and signature
- Pay the application form fees and submit the fill-up form.
Steps to apply for JEE Mains 2021 exam
Step 1- Filling up the application form: All the required details including personal details, academic details, contact details, graduation details have to be entered and submitted. You will have to create a password and choose the security question to answer that.
Step 2- Personal Details: Information like Name, Address, Parents Name, Contact Number preferably Mobile number should be given correctly because these will be useful in the future as well for verification as well as communication purposes.
Step 3- Academic Details: Education details such as marks/scores in 10th standard and other academic-related information should be filled correctly in the JEE Main 2021 application form.
Step 4- Contact Details: Phone No, Email ID, Address, and all the details should be given correctly and clearly because this will be used to contact you further.
Step 5- Uploading the required documents: The scanned copy of the required documents which includes your photograph and your signature has to be uploaded in the format prescribed by the authorities. A scanned recent photograph and the signature must be uploaded on the application form and it should be done as per the given specifications. These details will be printed on your admit card.
Step 6- Fee payment: The payment of examination fee can be done online through debit card, credit card/ internet banking/ UPI/ Paytm. The examination fee varies according to the gender, category, etc. The fee once paid using any of the modes will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Step 7- Printout of the acknowledgement page: The acknowledgement slip has to be downloaded and a print out has to be taken for future reference.
Image Specifications for JEE Main Application Form 2021
Some essential documents are required to be uploaded as images as part of the JEE Main 2021 form filling process. The scanned copies of the required documents, including your photograph and digital signature, have to be uploaded in the format prescribed by the authorities. JEE Main Application Form Correction Window 2021
- Correction: You will be able to modify all the particulars (including images of the photo, thumb impression, exam centre, and signature) of your application form. The balance fee, if any due to correction in particulars, will have to be paid during the correction period. In the case of fee payment, any changes done in the application will be updated only after the successful payment.
- Conditions: Corrections in JEE Main Application Form 2021 can be done only if the candidates have paid the fee and completed all the steps of the online application form of the exam.
Note: Candidates are required to mention the details as per the Aadhaar Card according to the instructions given in the table.
- You can make the changes or correct the information in the JEE Main 2021 application form only once when the correction window is open.
- You can only make corrections in certain fields. If applicable, you will have to pay the extra application form fee to make changes in the application form.
- You can make the changes in the particulars of JEE Main application form 2021 only if you have paid the application fee and submitted the application form successfully.
- Changes in the Examination Cities will not be accepted under any circumstances.

JEE Main 2021 Application Fee Refund
JEE Main 2021 application form fee is non-refundable, no matter what is the case.
- If you have earlier opted for both Paper-I and Paper-II, but now you want to appear in any one paper only, then you will not be refunded with the money.
- You will not be refunded even if you change your category to any of the reserved categories in the correction window.
JEE Main 2021 Common Service Centres (CSC's)
NTA has started an initiative to help out candidates with the form filling process of JEE Mains 2021 exam. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, has set up Common Service Centres (CSC) to guide candidates who are not very well-versed with the JEE Main 2021 application form. Around 1.5 lakh common service centres (CSC's) spread across different parts of the country to help and support the candidates with fundamental difficulties that they might face while filling or submitting the form. The services range from filling the application form, paying the application fees, uploading the required documents, among many more essential aspects. Q. What to do in case I forget my JEE Main login password?
A. In case you forget your credentials, you need to correctly answer your security question selected during the application process by clicking on the Forget Password link. A verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number along with a reset link to your registered email ID to reset your password.
Q. Will I get rejected if I fill more than one JEE Main application form?
A. In this scenario, the exam conducting authorities use information from both the applications and merge them into one to issue an admit card to you. However, you must send an email to [email protected] providing both the application numbers and mention the one they have to consider for releasing the admit card.
Q. My transaction failed while paying the JEE Main application form fee, what to do now?
A. Candidates are required to pay the JEE Main application form fees again before the deadline. In case the amount is deducted even adter the transaction failure, it is refunded to the payer's account within seven working days.
Q. What should I fill in the roll number and year of passing if I am appearing for improvement exam in 2021?
A. All candidates appearing for improvement in 2021 must fill the roll number and year of their first attempt in the application form in the year of passing. The pass percentage determined by the improvement exam will be considered later during the JEE Main Admissions.
