What is a Good Rank in KCET 2024?

The definition of a "good" rank in KCET 2024 varies by course and college. Completing Computer Science in premier colleges such as RVCE or BMSCE will generally require a general merit rank of 1,500 or below for a candidate. For less sought-after branches or unavailable colleges, ranks as high as 25,000 could still guarantee a seat. Round-wise KCET Cutoff differences

KCET counseling is conducted over several rounds, generally over Round 1, Round 2, and the extended rounds or casual vacancy round. Cutoff ranks shift in each rounds. In the early rounds, candidates with higher ranks occupy the more competitive seats, and resultantly lower ranking candidates get the opportunity in later rounds.

For example, a branch like ECE in MSRIT may close at Round 1 at 3,000, and Round 2 may crackle lower than 5,000, which would be dependent on whether seats were still available and had some ruptured situation, eg, withdrawals.
