It should be noted that applicants from other countries who completed or are enrolled in 10+2 or an equivalent programme overseas at the time of JEE Advanced registration 2026 are not required to take JEE (Main) 2026. They automatically qualify for JEE Advanced registration, provided all other requirements for the JEE application form 2026 are met.

However, to qualify for JEE Advanced in the open category, foreign national students who have studied or are currently studying at the 10+2 level or equivalent in India must write JEE Main 2026.

Documents Required for JEE Advanced 2026 Application Form

• Signature: The candidate must possess a scanned copy of their signature.
• Passport Size Photo for JEE Application Form: The candidates must have a scanned copy of the passport-size coloured photograph of a full frontal (face) view, with the head centred in the frame, covering 70-80% of the photograph should be taken within the last six months.
• Class 10 Certificate
• Class 12 Certificate: The candidates must have a scanned copy of the Class XII or equivalent examination certificate.
• OBC-NCL Certificate: The OBC-NCL certificate (FORM-OBC-NCL) should have been issued on or after 1st April 2019 following the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
• SC/ST Certificate

• Scribe Letter: If the candidate wants to avail of a scribe's services, the candidate must have the scribe letter in the prescribed format from the Chairman of JEE Advanced 2026.

JEE Advanced application form 2026 will be made available on the official website from Apr, 2026, for Foreign Nationals. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam till May, 2026. The applications for JEE Main 2026 qualified candidates will be released on Apr, 2026. The steps to apply for the exam will be provided below:

• Step 2: Now, candidates should click on the link given for JEE Advanced registration 2026.
• Step 3: Enter the details like JEE Main 2026 Roll number, Password, and Security pin. Click on the Login button.
• Step 4: Enter the details like personal, academic, communication, and other details. Also, candidates can choose the JEE Advanced Exam Centres according to their preferences.

JEE Advanced Registration 2026: Password Reset Guide

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals

The eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced application form 2026 submission are as follows:

• Performance in JEE Main: Candidates who have cleared JEE Main 2026 will meet the JEE Advanced eligibility percentile.
• The Number of Attempts: For JEE Advanced 2026, the candidates can attempt the examination two times in two consecutive years.
• Age Limit: General category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998, i.e. the maximum age limit for JEE Advanced is that they must be 25 years of age or less. 5 years of relaxation is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, i.e., candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
• JEE Main: The candidates should qualify JEE Main examination to meet the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2026. The candidates should also meet the cutoff for admission into IITs. The JEE Advanced eligibility criteria for droppers include this as well.
• Qualifying Examination: Should have passed 10+2th standard qualifying (or equivalent) examination in 2022. Those who appear for the exam in 2026 will also fulfil the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2026.
• IIT Admissions: The candidates should not be an IIT alumnus or must have never registered for any program. Candidates who have joined any IIT but have cancelled their admission will also not be able to meet the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2026.
