• The signature should be done on white paper. It should be visible.
• The signature should be in .jpg or .jpeg format. The size should be between 4KB and 30KB, and the dimensions should be 1.5 cm (height) X 3.5 cm (width).
• Do not use capital letters for the signature. The signature should be in running handwriting.
• Do not overwrite the signature.

Attaching a photograph to the JEE Main application is necessary. The following are the guidelines for uploading the photograph for JEE Main:

• A passport-sized photograph must be between 10 kb to 300 kb.
• Ensure the photograph is clicked by a professional camera; avoid uploading photographs taken using smartphones.
• Ensure that up to 80% of your face is visible in the picture against a white background.
• Ensure that the picture is clear. Images can be either black and white or in colour.
• Spectacles are allowed in the photograph only if you wear them regularly.
• Polaroid or Computer-generated images are not acceptable.
• Do not wear a face mask or any accessories like a muffler or goggles.
• Candidates with an eyesight issue are allowed to wear spectacles. Ensure there is no reflection on the spectacles and that the eyes of the candidate are clearly visible.
