JEE Main application form correction 2024 window will be opened by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can alter personal information, academic details, paper language, and category through the JEE Main 2024 application form correction window.

  • Whenever there is any additional fee incurred the changes will be saved only after payment of the additional amount.
  • No change will be allowed in the city of examination.

If there are any errors after this correction window closes, the candidates will not have any option to make any changes. 
  • Candidates should be aware of any service that claims to make corrections in your JEE Main form. These services are fake and will scam you by fraudulently deducting a huge amount of money from your bank accounts. Steps for Corrections in JEE Main Application Form 2024

NTA follows predefined steps when modifying details through JEE Main application form correction 2024 window. The following are the steps for changes in the JEE Main form:

  • Visit the NTA JEE Main official website.
  • There will be a link for the Application form correction here. Click on the link and proceed to the next step.
  • Login using the JEE registration number and password and a security pin to access the form. Read the instructions given on the page.
  • Here, make the changes that are necessary. Pay the additional fee if applicable. 
  • Now check all the details entered by you carefully. Once you are sure that everything is correct, submit the form.
  • Take a printout of the form for future reference.

When is it Required to Pay an Additional Fee for JEE Main application form?

While making any changes through JEE Main application form correction 2024 facility, candidates may require to pay additional charges. The following are the scenarios where candidates will have to pay an additional fee amount:

  • If a candidate wants to give two or more papers instead of a single paper.

  • Ensure that up to 80% of your face is visible in the picture. 
  • Ensure that the picture is clear. Images can be either black and white or with colour.
  • Do not wear a face mask or any accessories like a muffler or goggles. 
  • Candidates with an eyesight issue are allowed to wear spectacles. Ensure there is no reflection on the spectacles and the eyes of the candidate are clearly visible.

Guidelines for Signature for JEE Main 2024

A signature proves that the candidate has read and filled out the JEE Main application with sincerity. The following are the guidelines for uploading the scanned copy of the signature:

  • The signature should be done on white paper. It should be clearly visible. 
  • The signature should be in .jpg or .jpeg format. The size should be between 4KB and 30KB, and the dimensions should be 1.5 cm (height) X 3.5 cm (width).
  • Do not use capital letters for the signature. The signature should be in running handwriting.
  • Do not overwrite the signature.
