IIM Visakhapatnam admission 2026 is offered for PG and doctorate various courses. Applicants can register on the official website to apply for various courses at the institute. The admission to PGP, PGPEX, PGPDGM, EMBA, PhD and MGNF is based on national-level entrance exams, and students must register for these exams separately.
- For the IIM Vizag PGP Program, the institute uses multiple parameters, including academic performance in the 10th standard examination, 12th standard examination, bachelor's degree examination, scores in the Common Admission Test (CAT), and performance in personal interviews, to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP program. Relevant work experience, if any, is also given weight in the selection process.
- For the IIM Vizag PGPeX Program, the candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent) and a minimum of three years of full-time work experience.

IIM Visakhapatnam PGP (MBA) Admission 2026
IIM Visakhapatnam follows a three-stage admission process for its MBA program, beginning with CAT scores and followed by the Personal Interview. Candidates must select IIMV during their CAT 2025 application and meet the minimum cutoff to proceed.
Stage 1: Shortlisting Based on CAT 2025 Scores
Candidates must achieve the minimum cutoff percentile in both the overall and sectional scores of the CAT exam. For general category candidates in 2024, the minimum cutoff was 82 percentile overall and 70 percentile sectional. Candidates who meet these criteria and have selected IIMV as a preference during CAT registration will receive an email by the third week of January 2026 (tentative) with a link to apply for PGP 2026–28 at IIM Visakhapatnam.
