Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong), also known as Shillong IIM, offers courses in management at the postgraduate and doctorate level. IIM Shillong students have to undergo an on-the-job training programme, irrespective of whether participants have past working experiences or not. The internship in the participating corporates/organizations is scheduled at the end of the first three terms in the first year and is approximately eight weeks in duration.

IIM Shillong PhD Programs

IIM Shillong offers full-time and part-time PhD programs, including IIM Shillong PhD for working professionals (PhD-WP). • Fill in the application form by the candidate. This includes a tentative research proposal, wherein the candidate will have to present the tentative research problem proposed to be researched.
• Shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Interview/Interaction based on the profile and tentative research proposal. The applicants will be informed about this process, once they are shortlisted for the process.
• Each applicant is expected to select three venues for this, in the order of their preference. The Institute will inform the applicants about the final venue and schedule of this process.
• Personal Interview/Interaction with the candidate.
• Offer of admission extended to selected candidates.
