The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) opened the NMAT registration window on August 1, 2025. The last date to apply is Oct 10, 2025. While the registration for the second round of NMAT 2025 will be held in January 2026. Candidates willing to take the NMAT 2025 exam are advised to keep track of the application form steps, important dates, and application fee as well.

You may apply for the exam on the official website, mba.com. The NMAT 2025 exam will be administered three times within a test frame.

Colleges in India that accept NMAT scores include NMIMS, SPJIMR, and TAPMI, among others. During the NMAT registration procedure, candidates must create an account, complete an application form, select college choices, and pay an application fee, among other things. Candidates with a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the NMAT 2025 exam.

NMAT Registration Process

Candidates must complete the NMAT Registration 2025 procedure online. The NMAT registration steps are detailed below.

  • Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website at mba.com/exams/nmat.
  • Step 2: Click the ‘Register for NMAT by GMAC’ button on the home page.
  • Step 3: Enter the full name, email address, and create a new password.
  • Step 4: After entering the details, click the ‘Create Account’ button to create an NMAT registration login.
  • Step 5: A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email address. Follow the instructions to verify the account.
  • Step 6: Log in to the NMAT registration login account using the credentials sent in the confirmation mail.
  • Step 7: Click the Candidate Dashboard to access the application form.
  • Step 8: Upload the scanned images of the passport-size photograph in the specified size and format.
  • Step 9: After the image is uploaded, enter the required information on the form step by step.
  • Step 10: Choose the preferred exam mode from the given options.
  • Step 11: Pay the NMAT registration fees through the available modes.
  • Step 12: Proceed to slot booking, after which NMAT admit card 2025 will be issued.

Q: Is NMAT registration available throughout the year?

A:

No, candidates can only apply for the NMAT exam during a specific timeframe. NMAT registration is normally completed in the first week of August. The registration window is open for 65 to 90 days. Candidates can, however, register an account with GMAC to take the NMAT exam. Account creation is available for free, throughout the year. Candidates need to pay the NMAT registration fee only after they have filled the application form and are proceeding to schedule the exam attempt.

Q: How many times is NMAT exam conducted in a year?

A:

GMAC administers the NMAT exam three times within a single MBA admission session. GMAC allows for three exams to be taken during a single testing time. The test window for NMAT is around 45 days. Once the candidate obtains a valid score, he or she can complete the retake registration process and schedule a date that is 15 days after the prior attempt. Candidates may take the NMAT up to three times on dates approved by GMAC. The best of the three test scores is forwarded to NMAT participating colleges chosen by the candidate when filling out the form.

GMAC facilitates the NMAT registration opportunity once a year. Registration for the NMAT test is only accepted once each exam session. Candidates who make errors on the NMAT registration form must resubmit the form with a new phone number and email address. Additionally, such candidates must pay the application cost again because it is non-refundable once paid. Therefore, candidates must be cautious when filling out the NMAT application form.
