NMAT qualifying marks 2023 are expected to fall between 150-200. However, 210 to 250 can be the cutoff range for admission to top B-schools. Candidates who pass the NMAT exam are eligible to participate in the subsequent selection rounds (WAT/GD/PI). GMAC will release the cutoff for NMAT 2023 after the declaration of results.

NMAT 2023 Expected Cutoff

Factors Affecting NMAT qualifying Marks 2023

Based on the trends of previous years, NMIMS NMAT cutoff 2023 will not differ much from its previous year's cutoff. The NMAT participating colleges will release their cutoff based on the determinants given below:

Phase-Wise NMAT 2023 Selection Rounds

In order to enrol in the MBA program in NMIMS or other NMAT participating colleges, the main step is to take the NMAT 2023 exam. After qualifying for the exam, candidates will be eligible to appear for further rounds of the selection procedure. The following are the different selection rounds:

  • First candidates sit for the NMAT by GMAC exam 2023
  • Candidates are required to achieve the minimum NMAT cutoff score 2023 in order to qualify for the subsequent rounds of selection

NMAT 2023 Selection Process

The selection procedure for NMAT 2023 will involve group discussion/case discussion, personal interviews, and a written ability test. These rounds will be conducted independently by the NMAT participating institutes in accordance with their respective admission schedules. A brief explanation of the various rounds is provided below:

  • Group Discussion (GD)/ Case Discussion (CD): There will be 7-8 candidates per group for the GD round, each with a different topic of discussion. Candidates will be expected to make two to three meaningful entries in a short span of time, say 15 minutes.
  • Personal Interview (PI): Post completion of the GD round, institutes will organize a personal interview round with the student by asking questions from different areas like management, current affairs, etc.
  • Written Ability Test (WAT): Many business schools accepting NMAT scores conduct the WAT round of 15-30 minutes duration to evaluate the students’ written and communication skills.
