SRM School of Management Courses

The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs within the stream of management. Most of the programs accompany various specializations for college kids to settle on from. The courses and specializations are as follows:

BBA Program

The Department of Business Administration was founded in the year 2007 to provide quality education and to enable the student community to take up the responsibility to build managerial skills to mold them as management leaders, senior administrators, and executives in the industry. This department initially began its operations within the Department of Commerce but began to work separately from June 2009. The department currently has a student strength of around 880 and is one of the most significant bachelor's degrees in Business Administration offered within the Faculty of Science and Humanities.

MBA Program

The MBA program is ready-made meticulously keeping in mind the industry dynamics and therefore the ever-changing economic scenario. The SRM MBA can be a two-year, semester-based (4-semester) program with industry internships at the top of each year leading to a structured project. Students are required to finish a complete of 38 courses, inclusive of elective courses, chosen from among the list of elective specializations offered by the varsity. The syllabus is continually revised to support industrial requirements. Currently, the varsity has 728 students pursuing the MBA course.

Ph.D. Program

The SRM School of Management has been conducting the Ph.D. program since 2004 to evoke the research capabilities of aspiring teachers and industry researchers. The Ph.D. is a vital school program to nurture and prepare professional and best talents to become potential eminent scholars. The purpose of the program is to promote quality research initiatives emerging from academia and industry and enable internal faculty members to undertake management and interdisciplinary doctoral programs to keep pace with the industry's requirements.

SRM School of Management Eligibility Criteria:

The Institute has set certain criteria for the admission process into courses. The eligibility criteria for the specific courses are mentioned in the table below:

SRM School of Management Admissions:

The 2020 SRM School of Management admission process for an MBA occurs through national entry examinations or entry examinations administered by SRMIST or by approved boards or agencies. Conversely, for BBA, admission is carried out directly. A combination of both offline and online phases is the application process here. Applicants who are willing to be accepted must apply online on SRMIST's official website, Chennai. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the Institute for admission to the BBA. The MBA selection is based on a correct score for the GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, CMAT, NMAT exams, followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
