XAT 2026 registration started on July 10, 2026. The registration process will end on December 5, 2025. If you're planning to pursue an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur or any of the 250+ colleges that accept XAT scores, you can now register by creating a login on the official website. If you registered for XAT last year, you can log in using the same credentials to apply for XAT 2026. Here's how you can complete your registration:

Step 1: Visit the official XAT website for the current year.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ tab at the top right corner of the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your details, including name, email ID, mobile number, state, city, and a password of your choice.
Step 4: Tick the confirmation box and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 5: You’ll receive a verification email at your registered email address.
Step 6: Open the email and click on the verification link to confirm your XAT registration.

Once your email address is verified, you can proceed to complete the application form and pay the registration fee.

After completing the XAT registration, candidates must use their XAT 2026 login credentials to complete the application form. The steps to fill out and submit the XAT application form 2026 are as follows.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of XAT 2026.
• Step 2: Click the ‘Login’ tab beside the ‘Register’ tab on the home page after registration.
• Step 3: Enter the registered email address and password to access the form.

• Step 4: Follow the instructions, and enter the required information, such as personal and parents, address, academic and program details.
• Step 5: Review the information entered and upload the required documents.
• Step 6: Accept the ‘Declaration’ by entering the name and date.
• Step 7: Pay the XAT registration fees using any available mode.
• Step 8: Download the registration fee payment fee receipt.
• Step 9: Review the application form and click the ‘Submit’ button.
• Step 10: Download and take the printout of the form for future reference.

If candidates forget their XAT registration password, they can follow the steps below to retrieve the credentials.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of XAT and click the ‘Login’ tab.
• Step 2: Click the ‘Forgot Password’ link below the ‘Login’ button.
• Step 3: Enter the registered email ID.

• Step 4: Click the ‘Submit’ option.
• Step 5: The renewed password will be emailed to the registered email ID.

XAT Registration: Important Points to Remember

The important points to remember regarding the XAT registration 2026 process are as follows.

• Candidates must select the most convenient exam cities for the XAT exam centre allotment at registration.
• The payment has failed if the e-receipt is not generated after the XAT registration fee payment.
• If the payment fails, candidates must re-try by logging in and repeating the fee payment process.
• Candidates must take the printout of the XAT registration fee payment receipt and the application form for further reference.

What After XAT Registration?

After the XAT registration 2026 process is completed, the conducting body will open the application form correction window for the candidates to edit/make corrections to the application. Once the window is closed, XLRI Jamshedpur will release XAT 2026 admit cards on the official website.
