G Pulla Reddy Engineering College, [GPREC] Kurnool, is one of the oldest and eminent engineering Institutes of Kurnool, Andra Pradesh, and was established on 22 February 1985 by the late Sri G. Pulla Reddy, a renowned philanthropist, and humanist.
G Pulla Reddy Engineering College Institute has had steady growth ever since it started and is now considered as a premier institute for technical education. GPREC admission are done based on qualifying AP EAMCET, AP PGECET entrance examination results.
GPREC has been functioning as an autonomous institution since 2006 and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi, and is recognized by University Grants Commission [UGC], New Delhi. The Institute has a permanent affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University [JNTU]], Hyderabad.
