The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, has set the AP EAMCET exam pattern 2021. The AP EAMCET 2021 exam pattern reflects the important highlights like in which mode the exam will be conducted, the marking scheme of the exam, any negative marking, and so on. AP EAMCET 2021 Exam Pattern Highlights

AP EAMCET 2021 Exam Pattern (Engineering)

AP EAMCET 2021 engineering question paper will consist of 160 questions, including all the sections. The distribution of questions is given below:

  • There are 40 questions in the Physics section, 40 questions in the Chemistry section, and 80 questions in the Mathematics section. The Mathematics section is divided into Mathematics-A and Mathematics-B subsections with 40 questions each.
  • Each question contains four options and carries one mark for the correct response. Also, there is no negative marking as per the AP EAMCET 2021 exam pattern.
  • The candidates need to score more than the minimum qualifying marks for AP EAMCET 2021 counselling.

AP EAMCET 2021 Exam pattern (Agriculture)

AP EAMCET Medical Exam Pattern describes that the paper will consist of 160 questions in total. The distribution of questions is given below:

  • There are 40 Questions in the Botany section, 40 Question in the zoology section, 40 questions in the Physics section, and 40 questions in the Chemistry section.
  • Each question carries one mark, so a total of 160 marks for the Engineering section. Each question contains four options from which you need to select the most appropriate answer. There are no negative markings.
  • The candidates need to score more than the minimum qualifying marks for AP EAMCET 2021 counselling.

Minimum Qualifying marks in AP EAMCET

  • The candidate should get a minimum percentage of 25% of the maximum marks in AP EAMCET 2021 to be considered for the ranking.
  • There is no prescribed minimum qualifying mark for aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. Their admissions will be limited to the total extent of seats reserved for their respective categories.

AP EAMCET Marking Scheme 2021

The marking scheme is always considered one of the basic factors for evaluating the marks of the candidates in the examination. With the help of a marking scheme, candidates can calculate their approximate score they secured in the qualifying exam. Candidates often search for "Is there negative marking in AP EAMCET". Knowing the marking pattern will help the candidates to analyze their scores. AP EAMCET 2021 Exam Pattern is categorized into two sections, namely Engineering & Agriculture, and also the marking scheme for both the sections are the same. For each correct answer/response, they will be awarded one mark. Also, there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer/response or unattempted questions.

AP EAMCET Online Test Instructions

Once the candidate enters the prescribed online exam portal, the instructions that should be followed will be displayed on the screen. Candidates will be able to find the button- 'I am ready to Begin', which they need to click after reading all the instructions. The candidates can also use the 'Zoom In' and 'Zoom Out' options to increase or decrease the font to our requirement.

The countdown timer will start ticking as soon as the candidate must press the button. This timer will be displayed throughout the exam at the top right corner of the screen. At the end of the timer, the responses will be automatically submitted even if they failed to submit them before the 3-hour mark.

  • Questions will be displayed one at a time in the chosen language. There are different sections for questions, and one needs to select the section with which they wish to start the exam.
  • A question palette would be present at the right end of the display screen. This enables us to navigate through the different sections and the questions. Candidates can jump between any of the questions using the question palette and answer them at your ease.
  • To select a response, one needs to click on the option they think is right and then click 'Save & Next'. Candidates could also mark the question to review later by clicking 'Mark for Review & Next'. To remove the answer they have selected, they can click on 'Clear Response'.
  • The exam summary will be displayed at the end, before the final submission of the test. This summary consists of the subject name, the number of questions that have been answered, not answered, marked for review, and not attempted. They need to confirm the submission by clicking the 'Yes' option.
