It is conducted in two phases: JEE Main and JEE Advanced both of which are counted in the list of most challenging entrance exams.

How to use JEE Main Rank Predictor?

Candidates are requested to provide valid details for all the information asked in order to avoid false predictions. To predict your rank, calculate the total expected score using the official JEE Main Answer Keys released by the NTA. Once you have calculated the total score, follow the steps below to fill out the form:

JEE Main Marks vs. Rank

Till 2016, a candidate’s All India Rank calculation was carried out using a normalization score. 60% marks weightage was given to JEE Main score and 40% weightage to the percentage obtained in 12th boards. From 2017, a candidate’s JEE Main score alone is considered in calculating his/her rank. Similarly, JEE Main 2020 All India Rank will be distinctly calculated based on JEE Main 2020 score/result.

As we know, from 2019 JEE Main will be conducted twice every year. So, if a candidate writes both the January and April exams, the best of two scores obtained will be considered in awarding the final All India Rank. The table below shows the ranks for equivalent marks as per 2019 data:
