JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2025

The foremost important criterion is to successfully crack the JEE Main examination 2025 and secure rank among the top 2.5 lakh. Listed below are some of the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria:

• A minimum average of 75% in board examination or rank among the top 20 percentile in the Class XII examination is a must.
• Students should have passed Class XII to apply for admission in 2025.
• Students belonging to the general category, their birth year should be on or after 1 October 1998. Students get five years of age relaxation if appearing from the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD).
• To apply for admissions in IITs, the student must meet the eligibility criteria set by the individual institutes.

After the JEE Main exam, the candidates are listed on the basis of their rank to appear in JEE Advance exam exam. Only first 10% of the candidates clearing the exam are allowed to give JEE Advance. After clearing JEE Advance, the counselling process takes place and Candidates get admission to the top IIT's, NIT's, NIIIT's and GFTI's.
