Karnataka 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Full/Part-time M.E Course

Eligibility scenario for Full/Part-time M.E. course is specified below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates should have a three-year[+] graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution after completion of 10+2 or diploma (3-year course), and in architecture/engineering stream, with at least 45% for (SC/ST and OBC candidates) whereas 50% marks general candidates.
  • Experience: Total work experience must be at least 3 years as on 31st July 2020 to satisfy eligibility criteria. The candidate must be employed with an organization not farther than 40 kilometres from the college campus wherein he/she seeks admission. This is only for those who apply for a part-time course.

Note: Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility 2020 for Full-time MBA Courses

Candidates required to meet the eligibility criteria of the full-time MBA course and parameters which candidates need to follow are specified below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have a three-year graduate[+] degree from a recognized government university or institution after completion of 10+2, in any stream, with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for (SC/ST and OBC candidates). 
  • Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

Note: Applicants are not allowed to round off their aggregate.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility for part-time MBA Courses

Eligibility Criteria for Part-time MBA courses is specified as below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have a three-year graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution after completion of 10+2, in any stream, with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

  • Experience: The total work experience must be at least 3 years as on 31st July 2020 to satisfy eligibility criteria and the candidate must be employed with an organization not farther than 40 kilometres from the college campus wherein he/she seeks admission. 

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility 2020 for MCA Full/Part time Courses

Eligibility Criteria for candidates appearing for both full and part-time courses of MCA are stated as below:

  • Qualifications: Candidates must have a three-year graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution with at least, 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for (SC/ST and OBC candidates). Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

Note: To satisfy eligibility criteria, candidate must have compulsorily studied Maths/ Stats/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Business Maths, Computer Programming/ Business Statistics as one of his/ her optional subjects. 

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility 2020 MCA and MBA-Guidelines:

For candidates, whether they are eligible for MCA and MBA, they should know about Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria for MBA and MCA. Before commencing for the exam candidates should be very cautious about the eligibility criteria of both MBA and MCA and the parameters related with the exam are as follows:

  • Candidate must have studied and passed in one or more Government recognized educational or Government institutions located in State of Karnataka for at least SEVEN academic years (from class 1 to Qualifying Examination).
  • 7 years should be either continuous or in a broken period as on 1st July 2020 in which the Entrance Test is held.
  • Candidate must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from a Government recognized institutions located in Karnataka State.
  • Candidate must have studied and passed the qualifying examination within State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized by the State Government.
  • Either of candidates’ parents (mother or father) should have studied in Government recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years.
  • Daughter or son of ex-servicemen who at the time of joining defence service had declared that a place in Karnataka as his hometown, proof of such domicile should be obtained and produced from “Deputy Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement".
  • Further, candidate must have passed the Q.E. from a University or Board or any other institution located anywhere in India.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 ME/ M.Tech- Guidelines

For candidates to know, whether they are eligible for ME and M.Tech, they should be cautious about Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility criteria for ME and M.Tech. Students need to remember some guidelines for Eligibility Criteria and these guidelines are as below:

  • Candidate must have studied and passed in one or more Government recognized educational or Government institutions located in State of Karnataka for least SEVEN academic years (from class 1 to Qualifying Examination).

Candidates need to check their Gate scores before appearing for the exam and the parameters are stated as below:

  • Candidates can Apply to Karnataka PGCET 2020 with their GATE Score.
  • Gate Score should be valid and relevant to the course you are applying for.
  • If the Gate Score of the candidate is above qualifying marks then the candidate will be eligible to apply for ME/M.Tech courses

Completed a three-year graduate degree after completion of 10+2, in any stream or should have passed any equivalent examination. The degree will have to be recognized by the state authority. The marks required at graduation level for all candidates is 50% to satisfy eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria for the full-time MBA course is as follows: -

  • Candidates should have completed a three-year graduate degree after completion of 10+2, in any stream.
  • The degree has to be recognized by the state authority.
  • The minimum marks required at graduation level for all candidates is 50 per cent to satisfy eligibilty criteria.
