  • TECHFEST and Mood Indigo are a technical and cultural festival of IITB and both are Asia's largest fests among their genres.
  • ABHYUDAY is the social fest.
  • The college life in IITB is the best.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] + Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Electrical Engineering), batch of 2019
  • The sports facilities in the campus are great with indoor basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, 6 lawn tennis courts and athletics, football and cricket grunds.
  • For the cultural scene, the Students Activity Centre (SAC) houses the Open Air Theatre most famous for the concerts during Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay's cultural festival.
  • College life in general is awesome.

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc], batch of 2030

There are regular lectures .Timings are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Two semesters are conducted each year. My experience is better in the college.

There are many clubs societies and association on campus. Send-off, annual day celebration, and some festivals are celebrated. Life in college is best as the students are friendly.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Physics), batch of 2017
  • We mostly have 3-5 hours of class between 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Some professors do assign projects in their coursework. Officially we have 2 quizzes, one mid-sem, and one final exam, which also vary from prof. to prof., some of whom also give assignments for better understanding of the topics.
  • The quality of teaching is very nice, and the teaching method comprises of lectures with in-class tutorials to enhance problem solving skills of the students.
  • The overall experience of the institute is very good with a great scope for scientific research.

  • There are many student societies working on various fields; like PG & UG council for respective bodies, Cultural association for cultural development, institute dance club, sports club, Photographic club, mountaineering club, Dramatics association etc. There are many scientific societies and clubs like Robotics club, MSI (Mars Society India), Kritika (for space exploration) etc. working in the campus. Many states also have their respective cultural socities for the advancement of their cultures among the students.
  • For technology there is Techfest (Asia's largest college technological festival), Mood Indigo (Asia's largest college cultural festival), Inter IIT sports (sports meet of all IITs), Avenues (the management school annual festival).
  • The life in college actually vary from person to person, and it also depends on the persons ability to tackle things. Sometimes it seems pressurizing during exams, and chilling during the culturals and festivals. In general, the life in campus is very good; a lot of scope in almost every field, you get enough chance to explore yourself with a lot of enthusiasts in your company.
