JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria
The NTA has provided detailed instructions regarding the eligibility criteria and the exam guidelines on its official website. The following criteria must be fulfilled to appear for JEE Advanced 2024.
- Candidates who secure the top 250000 ranks in JEE Main 2024 are qualified to apply for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
- Candidate must have a minimum 75% aggregate score in Class 12th or any equivalent board to be eligible to answer JEE Advanced.
- For reserved categories, the minimum score is 65 percent in Class 12th or any equivalent board to be eligible to answer JEE Advanced.
- Candidates who were born after or on October 1, 1997. ST, SC, and PwD categories will get a relaxation of 5 years.
- Candidates must have given the Class 12th board exam in 2021 or 2022.
- Should have Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in class 12th.
- A candidate previously accepted in any branch of IIT and did not accept the seat by appearing at the reporting centre is not eligible.
- Candidates whose admission was canceled by officials at IIT are not eligible.
