NEET Counselling 2023 Details
NEET counselling 2023 will be conducted for AIQ admissions on the official website. NEET 2023 conducting body, MCC, is expected to release the counselling schedule soon. Students who secured merit in NEET 2023 result will be eligible to apply for counselling rounds.
NEET 2023 results and cut off marks will be released by the conducting body soon after the exam is conducted. Based on the NEET scores and cut off marks, the conducting body will release NEET 2023 merit list with the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified to participate in the counselling process.
NEET 2023 counselling is expected to be conducted in the month of October 2023 after the result is declared. The role of NTA will conclude with the declaration of the result. The exam conducting authority will hand over the NEET result data to the NEET counselling authorities.
NEET 2023 counselling is held separately for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% State Quota seats. While the former is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the latter is conducted by the State Medical Admission Authorities for the MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.
NEET counselling 2023, for the academic year 2023-24 is likely to be conducted in four rounds and additional rounds will be announced depending on the seat vacancy status. While candidates are allowed to register for the first two rounds, no registration process will be available for the Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round.

In the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for undergraduate MBBS/BDS programs offered by the states and Union Territories to the Central pool, the conducting body has provided reservations for different categories, namely SC/ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD, based on which NEET 2023 counselling will be conducted. NEET All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling will be conducted by MCC (Medical Counseling Committee), while the State Counselling will be conducted by the respective state exam authority.
After the results of NEET 2023 have been declared, the cut off will be released for qualified candidates to participate in NEET 2023 counselling. Candidates must register for participating in NEET 2023 Counselling. They can register by visiting the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), for state counselling for NEET UG 2023.
The eligible candidates will have to go through two rounds of counselling. All India Quota Counselling is conducted by MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) while State Counselling will be conducted by the respective state exam authority.
All aspirants must carry the required documents for the counselling process like 10th and 12th marks card, photo, valid ID, etc. Candidates need to be present at the mentioned location on the specified date for the offline process of counselling.
Choice Filling for NEET Counselling: Candidates will be admitted based on their respective rank. They will be allowed to choose a college during the counselling process. However, seat allotment will be based on availability.

For the Mop-up Round of NEET 2023 counselling, new seat allocations will be made. CENTAC 2023-24 Common Online Admission Portal to All Colleges in U.T. of Puducherry
Provisional Allotment list for NEET related degree courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BVSc & AH – National-SS & NRI) in respect of Government / Management/ Self-supporting / NRI Quota will be published on the official website of CENTAC. From the date of the announcement of the Round 2 results the last date, assigned candidates can report to their universities in person or online.
For further information about online reporting, go to the relevant college's website. Candidates who have been assigned seats should check in and download their allocation order from the start date which will be announced by the conducting body. At the time of admission, this allotment order should be given to the relevant colleges. Students are also sent SMS reminders to visit the website for more information.
Note: Candidates who do not submit their recently renewed Residence/Community Certificates on time can obtain their allotment order after submitting it either through the Grievance Attachment option in their dashboard or in person at the CENTAC Office on or before the last date.
