NEET 2019 Counselling Highlights

  • Conducting Authority: NEET 2019 All India Quota Counselling will be conducted by MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) while State Counselling will be conducted by the respective state exam authority.

  • Registration: Candidates will be required to register for participating in NEET 2019 Counselling. Candidates can do so by visiting the official website of Medical Counselling Committee i.e. (www.mcc.nic.in).

  • Cut off: After the results of NEET 2019 have been declared, the cut off will be released for qualified candidates to participate in the NEET 2019 counselling.

Registration for NEET 2019 Counselling

  • Step 1: Online Registration: 

    • Details: Candidates should provide details like roll number, name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address to initiate the registration process for NEET 2019.

    • Generation of credentials: Upon successful registration, Login ID & Password are generated on the registered mobile number & email ID.

    • Login: For the further process, candidates can log in with the login ID & password which they receive after registration is done. 

  • Step 2: Selection & Locking: 

    • Selection of course: Candidates should select the course of their preference.

    • Selection of college: Candidates are also supposed to provide their selection preferences for college.

  • Step 3: Seat Allotment: 

    • Rounds: The process of seat allotment is conducted in three rounds.

    • Allotment: Candidates will be allocated seats based on their rank in NEET 2019 and choices provided during the online registration for the counselling process.

    • Exceptions: In addition to centralized counselling, a few centralized institutes may organize their own counselling procedure.

    • Reporting: After the seat allotment, candidates have to report to college for admissions.

Round 2:

  • Step 1: New Registration for Round 2 of Counselling.

  • Step 2: Fresh choice filling and locking for Round 2.

  • Step 3: Seat allotment result of Roud 2.

  • Step 4: Reporting college based on the Round 2 allotment result.


NEET 2019 15% All India Quota Counselling

  • Information: Information on online counselling can be obtained from the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
  • Authority: Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate-General of Health Services conducts Online counselling after the NEET 2019 Results are declared.

  • Waiting List: Candidates placed in Merit/ Waiting List after the NEET 2019 Results are advised to read the counselling information carefully and understand the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the Counselling.

The eligibility criteria for the second round of allotment is as follows: -

Group–I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the 1st round.

Group-II: Registered candidates, whose 1st round of allotted seats were cancelled during the document verification process. Those who have secured seats under the reserved quota, due to change of Category from reserved to Unreserved or PH status from Yes to No or from PH -1 to PH-2, are subject to eligibility in the changed category, will be considered for allotment of seats in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to availability of seat in respective category.

Group–III: Candidates who have reported at allotted institute during 1st round of allotment and submitted willingness for second round up-gradation as Yes.
