• AMRU had released the HP NEET PG 2024 Round 3 seat allotment result. All the selected candidates are required to report at the alloted institutes by February 14, 2025, with their necessary documents. All admission formalities must be completed as further claims will not be entertained.

The hospital's origins date to 28 October 1952, when Shri . Chandulal Trivedi, Governor of Punjab, Laid the foundation stone for a TB sanatorium funded by philanthropist Rai Bahadur Jodhamal Kuthiala. Inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 21 May 1958, the 200 bed facility was a gift to Kangra residents. A new hospital's foundation stone was laid by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on 23 October 1996, with the facility opening to the public on 3 October 2008. The associated medical college received provisional recognition from the Medical Council of India on 24 February 2005 and permanent recognition in January 2010.

• The College library is located in the middle of the hostels and is fully air-conditioned.
• There is a separate reading room with a capacity of 270 with a separate room for boys, girls, and staff.
• The auditorium has a capacity of 700 with air-conditioning and two conference rooms.
• The guest house has 25 rooms with 3 VIP, 11 AC and 11 Non-AC rooms and other facilities like a dining room and 2 conference rooms.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, located in Tanda, Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, was established in 1997 and received permanent recognition from the Medical Council of India in 2004. Affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, the college offers MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. at the undergraduate level, and MD or MS at the postgraduate level.

Admissions for MBBS and BDS are based on NEET UG scores, while MD and MS admissions rely on NEET PG scores, with state-level counseling for both. B.Sc. admissions are based on merit in the 12th examination. Applications are accepted online.
