NEET UG Seat Allotment 2023 list for round 2 has been released on the official NTA website. The NTA authorities have added new seats for round 2, and the seat matrix with all the details has been released. Candidates can download the list after every round of counselling. - The seat matrix is divided into All India (AIQ) and State-level quotas.
- The MCC will fill 15% of the All India quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses.

NEET UG Seat Allotment Process
The NEET UG Seat allotment process is conducted in 3 rounds, including a mop round. The seat allotment list is based on the marks secured by candidates in the NEET 2023 examination, seat availability, filled preferences, category and other factors. After announcing the list, candidates can choose to accept the allotted seat. The process for NEET Seat allotment 2023 has been listed below:
Step-1: Download Seat Allotment Letter
- Candidates who accept the allotted seats must download their seat allotment letter.
- Canidates can download the letter by logging into their user ID with their roll number, date of birth and security pin.
Step-2: Document Verification
- Candidates must bring all their original documents and 2 copies to the allotted centre.
- The document verification will be carried out at the designated centre itself.
- Candidates must also prove that they are medically fit.
Step-3: Intimation by Alloted Institutes
- After completing the admission process, candidates will be intimated by the allotted institutions.
- Allotted colleges will send details of the candidate to DGHS.
- DGHS will grant the admission letter to students based on the details provided by the allotted institute.
Important Points regarding the NEET UG Seat Allotment Process
Some of the important points regarding the NEET Seat allotment 2023 process have been given below:
- If a candidate does not accept the allotted seat after the first round of NEET UG Seat allotment and won’t participate in the counselling round, they can exit.
- Candidates will receive the refundable fees only if they leave in the first round of seat allotment.
- After the second round of counselling, the non-acceptance of seats will lead to the deduction of refundable fees.
- Candidates who have not been assigned seats but still want to participate in the subsequent rounds of NEET seat allotment have to opt for the choices.
- These candidates will have to provide their fresh choices of colleges for other rounds of NEET 2023 seat allotment.
- Candidates must note that this option will not be available after the second round of allotment.
