NEET rank predictor 2024 by GetMyUni is a tool devised to obtain the estimated rank of the candidates who appeared for the exam based on their performance. NEET is a medical entrance exam that facilitates admission to various medical and dental colleges in India. NEET 2024 result will be declared on the official website by the first week of June 2024, along with the cut off marks.

To qualify for NEET 2024, the candidates must score more than or equal to the qualifying marks, called the cut-off. NTA has released the cut off based on the difficulty level of the papers, the number of candidates appearing in the exam and the availability of college seats.

NEET 2024 Rank: Tie-Breaking Process

If the ranks of two or more candidates are equal, then the following tie-breaking criteria will be used to resolve the tie.

  • Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants securing higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for the NEET merit list.
  • Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie still exists, then the higher marks/percentile of the candidate in Chemistry will be considered.
  • The number of incorrect answers: If the tie is still unresolved, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers will be allotted a better rank.

NOTE: As per the latest update on NEET 2024, the earlier use of age to break the tie has been cancelled this year.

NEET 2024 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks in NEET 2024 are decided based on percentile, not percentage. The marks to be obtained to qualify for NEET are, in fact, variable; it depends on where the 50th percentile and the 45th percentile for the reservation category end, and the percentile depends on other factors like the number of candidates who appeared in the examination, highest score, the difficulty level of the paper. MCC offers NEET counselling 2024 for the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota, administered by the appropriate state agencies.
