Where to Apply

Candidates can exclusively apply online for NEET 2019 by logging on to NTA's official website. Kindly note that there is no provision for an offline application.

Application Dates

The process of application will begin from 1st November 2018 and go on until 30th November 2018.

Mode

The NEET 2019 application form can only be submitted online.

Initial Requirements

Before starting the procedure to fill the Application Form, candidates must keep a unique email ID and a valid phone number ready.

Code

Candidates appearing in 12th standard in 2019 should fill up qualifying code as 01.

Application Fee

The Application fee is Rs.1400 for general candidates and Rs.750 for SC/ST/PH.

Payment Mode

NEET 2019 Application Fee can be paid via:

  • Credit Card/Debit Card.

  • Internet Banking.

  • E-challan at designated banks only.

Confirmation

Information related to candidature will be available in the candidate’s login account. If confirmation page is not shown in login account, candidates are advised to immediately complete Step-3 of online Application and get the print out of confirmation page (Step-4) to complete the process within the prescribed last date of transaction of the fee.

Printouts

After successful completion of the application process for NEET 2019, candidates must take 2 to 3 printouts of the confirmation page.

No changes

The request for a change in the already filled NEET 2019 application will not be entertained.

Cancellation criteria

The candidates are advised to send only one NEET 2019 application form, if they send more than one then their NEET 2019 candidature will be considered invalid.

  Note: The candidates should ensure that mobile number and address entered in the NEET 2019 application form are his/her own.

Documents required for NEET 2019 Application form

  • Prefered ID Proof: The use of Aadhaar by NEET 2019 applicants will result in the accuracy of the candidate's identification details.

  • Notification: Accordingly, NTA has decided to use Aadhar for the applicants of NEET 2019 and hereby notifies the following:

    • Online Application: Candidates, who are in possession of Aadhar shall enter Aadhaar number, name, date of birth & gender in the online application for NEET 2019  for the purpose of his/her identity and authentication.

    • Enrollment: Candidates not yet enrolled for Aadhar are hereby required to make application for Aadhaar enrolment in case he/she is entitled to obtain Aadhaar as per section 3 of Aadhaar Act. Such applicants may visit any Aadhaar enrollment centre (list available at www.uidai.gov.in) to get enrolled for Aadhaar.

    • Facilitation centres: In order to facilitate such candidates who do not have Aadhaar, the NTA has specially set up facilitation centres in each city of examination for the purpose of Aadhaar enrolment. The candidates can approach such facilitation centres who will not charge any amount from any applicant for Aadhaar enrolment.

    • List: The list of the facilitation centres is available on the official website of NTA. These candidates who have enrolled for Aadhaar and have not received Aadhaar should enter 14 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID (including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling the online application form for NEET 2019.

    • Request submission: In case Aadhaar enrolment facility is not available at the facilitation centres, the candidates should submit a request for Aadhaar enrolment. The facilitation centre will issue a registration number to such candidates. This registration number should be entered by the candidates at the time of filling the online application form for NEET 2019.

  • Advantages of Aadhaar card: Use of Aadhaar will also help in ascertaining identities of the candidates at the examination centres in a convenient and hassle-free manner. Aadhaar obviates the need for producing multiple documents to prove one’s identity.

  • Importance: The NEET #year Application form is mandatory for the students who are going to appear in the examination without which, a candidate is not eligible to sit for the examination
  • Exemption: The above provisions shall be applicable in all states except J&K, Assam & Meghalaya.

    • For students from J&K, Assam, and Meghalaya:

      • Required details: The candidates who have passed or appearing in Class XII examination from the states of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya (if not having Aadhaar Card) need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt. identity number provided

      • Exam centre selection: They should select the city/ centre of examination in these states only.

    • For NRI's, OCI's, PIO's: 

      • NRI candidates if not have Aadhaar need to enter the passport number.

      • Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s) need to enter the passport number.

  • All the fields mentioned in the NEET application form are mandatory to fill. NEET application form fee amount can only be paid via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/E-challan at designated banks only

  • After successful completion of NEET application form, candidates must take 2 to 3 print outs of the confirmation page

  • The filing of NEET form begins from May 2017; you can log in to the official website and click on “Apply online”.

  • The registration for the NEET  examination has to be done online and the NEET form is available on the official website HTTP://aipmt.nic.in/aipmt/registration/instruction.aspx.

The candidates can upload a simple photo in white background for the application form to NEET.

The photograph must be in JPG/JPEG format, should not be larger than 100 kb.

If there are any corrections to be done to the uploaded picture, a proper window of correction will be given to each.
